Probably, but players born after on or after 73 should be reasonable easy as all the players in their prime from 2000 are essentially eligible. It would end up dipping into pools if we had done EPL or La Liga only which should make it quite a fun pool.
 
Yeah I'll play that, don't see September being an issue either thisnfraft will take a good while given there is an extra round of games to play.
 
OK, so who is in.

Trying for a 32 man draft for any player born on or after 1st Jan 1973 - R9 and Messi are blocked. This is basically for the post 2000 Draft @NoPace has wanted for years
 
Technically the draft I wanted would probably be post-1980 or even 1985 (like I don't really remember if Davids was better than Seedorf, just that Davids seemed to run around more and Seedorf better on the ball), but I'm still in! Love the No Messi/CR7 rule.

The idea is that the peaks of players are around 27 plus in age which if born in 73 would be the year 2000.
 
next draft should be either a 4way or a group chain
 
How about an all-time Serie A draft? I don't believe we have done that before. Simple, 16 man snake. Serie A peak only.

2 managers, 2 nations, 2 clubs, 2 decades

group chain follows the leagues.

with every pick you must put a peak period and whoever picks after you he picks from the leagues that are within previous player peak.

example:

gio picks messi with peak from 2020 - 2023, that covers PSG and Inter Miami.
zlatan then can pick a player that played in either MLS or Ligue 1 but that is also within his own criteria.

we would also need to create a pool if you lock yourself up but maybe one get out of jail card per manager

you know how a normal 4way works? in this you just add another criteria.

tell me which part is confusing and i will try to explain...also, just because i moan its not a reason to move away from serie a, if people want to play that again im gonna play as well

I think I get it now. You keep your own restriction (as in a normal four way) but the group chain provides a group restriction

managers pick their own pool in secret
  • 4 choose a pool of pčayers that played under 2 managers(lets say ten hag and avram grant)
  • 4 choose 2 clubs
  • 4 choose 2 countries
  • 4 choose 2 decades(think we moved to just one decade as the pool was too good), so lets say players that plsyed in 80s and 90s
in this i would add another criteria for everyone so in the end you need to pick a player from your pool you choosed + he needs to fit the group chain.
