Think that was one from each team in a semi. I fecked up picking a striker that I thought was a keeper

Is it the World Cup final or the World Cup finals (the actual tournament post-qualification) red card, @Edgar Allan Pillow? I assume it's the latter.

Concept is great, but people are right it should be far more balanced. As it stands it's not that it won't be a goatfest but unlucky rolling will destroy certain teams and jammy ones will be laughing. If you want to avoid goatfests you can always have a block list.

I may shadow this one if I find the time.

Well, there is time to tweak it. Suggestions are always welcome. Which category would you like added/amended/replaced?

Can't really eliminate the unlucky rolls in a luck based draft :p

id maybe add every major final instead just WC for the red card incident. So WC, Euro, Copa, CL, Cup Winners Cup, Uefa Cup/EL, Copa Libertadores. I reckon(without any research) its still a crappy pool.

and id remove 25 and less caps, its done to death so something new would be lovely.

something fun....we had footballers on motorcycles, newbies had low socks criteria, moustaches were criteria once so something like that would be cool. I know we already have beard spot but i reckon there is room for another, im sure your evil brain will think of something.
 
somebody with experience in the media? somebody with problems with alcohol? something like that for instance
 
I always wanted to have a musical category (players that recorded a song, be it solo or in a group), but I have no idea how deep the pool is on this one. Should be enough players, but this will require a serious research.

That's a great suggestion. I would love to have that.

I think others have done some great suggestions, here are the categories which I think need replacing:

Less than 25 NT caps: a bit boring, done before
Won a 2nd division title: super small pool, maybe I didn't research enough and others can comment on that?

Other categories need some more specifics to work more seamlessly:

No top 4 league team player over past 5 years: Does that mean any player who has played one match in a league outside of PL, Serie A, La Liga and Bundesliga since 2013 is eligible? Or just those players who have spent the last 5 years outside of those leagues?

Never won any top division league: How does it work with Brazilian state championships or state tournaments? Are those considered top division leagues? They didn't have a proper top division before late 60s if I remember correctly and that makes every one of those tournaments the "highest tier".

Who has the same first name or last name as someone else in your team: How does it work with Brazilians where every second one has "dos Santos" in his name? What is considered the first name and what is the last name?

Has at least 1 cap for a country that has never reached the world cup finals: I assume that means a country which has never reached the tournament, not the last game? I would strongly suggest to make it the latter to make it more balanced.

Who has received not more than 2 Ballon D'or votes in any year of your choice: This needs a new wording because as it stands, it's a free pick. I can just choose the year where some player is 36 and playing in some retirement league and it is a free run at Non-Europeans before the mid-90s as well.

I suspect that he has to be in the Ballon d'Or list that year, although I agree that the wording could be better.

Yeah that makes sense, although there is also the category of "outside top5 in Ballon D'Or votes, but minimum 1 vote", which would be very similar.

Probably too tough to search — I've tried to find a few songs of the players that I know recorded one and failed. Only remember a couple of clips that I've already stumbled upon.
