Next Draft - Ideas and Discussions

What are we doing about pre war players moving forwards? Seems to have been quite a cause of attention in this latest draft. Don't know if that's purely because more were picked due to the chain and the fact it's based on singular world cups?
 
Also in for either, would most likely prefer Flexi though. So much actual drafting

In for either but its high time we changes the reinforcements structure.

I think we should block all R1 and R2 picks from reinforcements in one of the next drafts.

Hardly in any draft we see the original structure or core of the teams remain the same till the end.

If anything, the common barometer of the World Cup makes it easier to compare the 30s legends with the more recent ones. It's harder when you have to factor in their club careers where you have less material to work with. Generally it's easier to accommodate pre-war players when all managers have to involve them in some shape, such as through 1-per-decade rules, which moves us away from the "football was shite back in the day" argument. But that line of thinking is the bigger issue and one where there is no real consensus. One man places Pele and Best on the pedestal, another gets his boner on with the top men of the 1970s and 1980s, while other young pups believe these players wouldn't cut it in the intensity of the current game.

- Only 6 per continent (place of birth) (Russia is considered Asia)

Bit too much and arbitrary @Edgar Allan Pillow. Block the usual suspects like Pele, Diego etc but why block the likes of Amoros, Veron, Tigana etc these players rarerly get far in the drafts bar the first few rounds.
