Rubbish that this has little or no mod support

Agree with Wibble's point that when the Caf was smaller you had less spastics to get in the way, and those that were just laughed at by the decent posters. Now the weighting of cretins is higher, and the decent posters can't be arsed to put the time/effort in. There's also a lack of dominant Caf personalities who are here on a regular basis...

I don't think the extra modding in the football forums will do the trick...as has been said, there's a fair few who are harmless, just clueless. Seems harsh just to can them.....this is why the extra, slow moving forum would work. It wouldn't be busy enough for many to get to worked about not being in it...no doubt some would, obviously..but feck them. There's only so many topics you can cover re football if you cut out the banter and that.

So in a nutshell, stop feckin about and get it sorted. Sincher, Spoony and myself can let people in....no one can complain to the mods, in fact anyone who wants to gain entry has to come direct to me, and I'll probably explain that I hope they die soon.

Everyone's* a winner

* some might feel otherwise

Good job it didn't, would have seemed like the Caf was dying on its arse for no reason. And no doubt being shockingly overlooked by the elitists, I'd have been left to fend for myself with the 'what number will Tevez be'-ers

It might seem a bit harsh on newbies who are decent who wouldn't get an invite straight away, but on the other hand, the better posters seem to be less arsed with posting in the football forum thesedays...which will ultimately continue to bring the site down

maybe the quality in the football forum will improve once there is football to talk about - during the summer this place is like 'It's a Knockout' for the red top readers

Hopefully, and pre-season is tedious

But it's more likely to be the usual 20 threads about Liverpool with the odd decent topic hidden amongst them, and half ruined by muppets...

aye is there a way to lessen the amount of crap images , and then some sort of death penalty to people who use pics in quoted replies ... ?

Ironic that your snide attempts to wind people up in there is one of the factors in people reacting and threads falling apart.

The caf isn't dying, it's just getting bigger and your silly little attempts at trying to grab some elitist fame won't help the problem.

Now feck off and help the thread get back on track, as the Caf is dying in terms of quality if not volumes

It's infuriating. This is clearly the case for loads of the better posters now....the gimps that cause the problem don't even realise they're doing it and in most instances have neither the nounce or desire to get involved in any proper debate - there'd be nothing for them to miss out on
 
maybe instead of 'location' 'date of birth' as part of your public profile, we could just have our opinion on the recurring nonsense ... that might pave the way for proper discussion ...
