NBC Sports is getting the Premier League Next Season

your the first person i know who thinks less live games is better. I'd much rather choose what I watch then have to wait until later.

Well, I don't wake up that early, so yeah, worse. I'm on the west coast. Games often start at 4 am during the season. Most start at 7 am. I also have a young kid, so I don't get to just sit and watch a game end to end.

DVR's are the way most people watch sports now. Being able to record more games rather than fewer seems like a no brainer.

Has ESPN3 lost all its rights to the big leagues? I only see Eredivisie and isolated South American games in their listings, do they at least keep Serie A? I enjoyed watching ESPN3 online at work. They do still seem to have the internationals at least.
In the Caribbean we get ESPN 2 Caribbean which still shows the top EPL games. United vs Chelsea is on it on Monday. We also get NBC so I guess ESPN still has the rights in other regions but not the US. Spoilt for choice. Couldn't ask for more.

That makes sense. I noticed that the games on the NBC Extra channels don't have the "out of town" scores on the upper right, so if I was watching multiple games I recorded I would watch those first. We have 3 DVR's that can record 2 shows at once so if I really wanted to do that I could. Being on the East coast I can generally watch them live.

Over here there's a Caribbean sports station that recently started a second channel to replace FSP. They show most games on that as well as their main channel and also ESPN still carries the same amount of games they did last season.

Lol. I flipped channels to see if the local ABC and FOX broadcasts interrupted the NCAA games, and they did. I'm can only imagine the outrage in the south when that black Muslim guy started talking and they lost their college football feed.

So where can I watch daily footy highlights now that FSC's nightly Report is no longer on. I miss my daily wrap up of all the action from all the competitions.

NBC does it the next day. I think it's called Match Day. Don't know of anything else.

I noticed that Regis has a sports show on NBCSports. Wtf?

There's an English bird, a smoking hot "social media" bird, a former NFL player (Trevor Pryce), a wannabe comedian, and some homo from the WSJ.

EPL games are moving from NBCSP to USA this weekend.

Interesting.

Must be because of the Olympics. And USA is part of NBC Universal, so technically one company. I bet you the NBC app will still let you stream as well as the NBCSport website.

Is this a permanent switch or just for the Olympics ? Also, since i'm newly back in the states, is NBC Sports a separate channel or are the matches shown on the regular NBC channel.

Should be just a switch for the Olympics. NBC sports is separate channel(1640 on uverse). NBC sometimes shows the late Saturday kickoff game and I think very big games. Also check if your cable provider carries Extra Time so you can watch every game live on tv.

I emailed them about the size of their logo/clock/score banner. It literally takes up half the length of the screen.

feckers ignored me.

Look at the size of that bastard!

Literally? :)

I don't think it's that bad. Haven't even noticed the size of it before you mentioned. Is it much smaller in the UK? It's been 14 years since I left there.

A couple of bits of awful commentary in our game against Hull. The co-commentator criticised Jones for injuring himself. And then after that, he made it seem like Smalling monumentally screwed up after a poor touch with no Hull player next to him.

I'd still take this over listening to Andy Townsend on ITV

I found that commentary to be moronic. Jones separated from his marker and went for a free header only to have another defender go for a clearance at the same time. It was a freak collision.

Is this the shite I'm watching with Robbie Earle on it? He just asked the female presenter if she remembered when her first girlfriend was, because that's what Wilson's goal will feel like. He's an idiot of mind boggling proportions.

In the studio there are two Robbies; Mustoe and Earle, and Rebecca Lowe. She's a bit of alright.

I watched a bit of ESPN FC last night and found Stevie Nicol to be really annoying. I'm sure he was a bit off considering one of the other guys was ribbing him about L'pools draw.

The play-by-play fella is good - doing some of the World Cup in the US, as well. The other one is a cnut, though.
