Nope, FSC. They still have rights to that, FA Cup and Champions League.Well, Community shield match is on NBC or what?
Thank you mate.Nope, FSC. They still have rights to that, FA Cup and Champions League.
I think their Match of the Day is the same concept but with NBC's analysts/commentators.I was watching the one preview show they had on that talked about the 10 biggest talking points of the season and it wasn't bad...
An interesting bit at the end they were advertising for showing Match of the Day and Match of the Day II... any idea if these are the same shows from England? I've always enjoyed d/l'ing MOTD online to watch it... would be pretty cool to see it on TV now.
Most of the games are on NBC Sports with the games between the top sides being on the main NBC channel. This is what I gather from the scheduling for the first three weeks of the season anyway. You should get NBC Sports if you have regular NBC.
ESPN has a new soccer-specific show called ESPNFC. It's not bad so far. They spent the first 20-30 minutes discussing the Premier League. They have some good talent on.
Holy hell, NBC had a show introducing the Premier League teams (designed for those folks who know nothing about football). It was horrific in all of the ways you would expect (including the repeated references to 'franchise'). Of course, I was not their target audience for that show but if all of their shows are going to pander to the lowest common denominator, then I will stick to the live games and that's it.
I watched it, too, and thought it was moronic. Then there was a show or part of a show broadcaset from the soccer bar in New York City that was merely an advertisement for the place. They are aiming for the lowest common denominator. I pray the presenters of the matchs will be the English feed and not NBC personnel.

It's not a new show really. It's a rebranding of ESPN Press Pass really. Same people as were on that.
Anyone got a clue how this will affect Canada?
I get 3 different NBC stations.
Yet I notice that the CS was on Sportsnet World... do they have the rights for Canadian broadcasts of the EPL?
Yeah, but it's on ESPN2 now rather than just a web-based show. At least I don't know of PressPass being on tv.
Is NBC on basic cable, or do I have to subscribe to a specific package for this? I'm using Comcast.
Fox sports.I have Comcast/Xfinity. What channels will be showing the FA Cup, League Cup and Champions League matches?
Fox sports.
