NBA Thread 2013-2014

Actually watched some of that game. Pacers look terrible, not tired just completely unhinged, mentally shattered and discombobulated.

Though there was a lack of edge, that extra hustle, sharpness and fight, but it didn't seem they were necessarily unable to go there.

Man I hope Mavs and Rockets square their series' today. All game sevens in the West would be INSANE.

ZBo suspended for the seventh game and MCJ is doubtful. Safe to say OKC are winning the game seven easily.

Batshit crazy game going on between Spurs and Mavs. Monta Ellis is simply ridiculous.

Mavs win. What a brilliant game!

Onto the seventh game to settle the series.

Go Mavs! Little chance to win game 7 but that's a great thing for the city to have such a great series.

Of course Dallas is one of the shittiest cities in the world, but I have some family around there so I have to back them.

why are the games always close? It's just so odd. I see a team get a decent lead but I know it's irrelevant because the other teams will always come back.

Two simple reasons: Constant time-outs and constant personnel changes. These make sustainable momentum impossible for the whole game.

What a series!

Even thought Portland have won this 4-2, this was far more closer than that.

Not so sure about that. Dirk has been getting better and better for each of the past 3 games. By my calculations, game 7 will see the return of 2011 playoffs level Nowitzki.

I missed the Lillard shot live :(. Saw a replay though, wow. I like him.

Anyone remember that entire season he heckled Baron Davis? Sorta takes on a different feel now.

Also is it me or has there been an inordinate number of 4 point plays so far this playoff's?

Seems like it.

Partially linked to the fact people seem to be better from 3 pt. range than ever? Or am I talking rubbish? I mean I'm pretty new to Basketball as a whole but it seems that spacing the floor and going small (or having big men who can stretch the floor) is more en vogue, or is it just the cyclical nature of Basketball?

Well there are a lot more three point shots being taken, but they aren't going in at a higher rate.

Pacers looking somewhat like their old selves.
They were impressive tonight. Thunder made it look easy aswell. Westbrook with a triple double. Almost double figures in turnovers aswell.

Caught the final half of the Nets game, great stuff!!
