very sloppy. Really took our foot off the gas in the 4th. Some good signs though.Good win. Bit sloppy here and there though.
Lakers have a lot of work to do.

I don't even really know what the issue is. I know Westbrook cops a lot of the blame (and maybe my bias is blinding me) but I don't think he's even been that bad. The whole team is just...average.
Haha yeah that was amazing. But it was different because we were the underdogs and we got it done with Nick fecking Foles as our QB.Not to cross streams but I remember living there during the super bowl run, the constant “waiting for it to go wrong because they always let you down” feeling. It was a wild ride
I like Westbrook, used to love watching him at okc. But I'm confused as to why Laker Nation and the media are onto him. I mean everyone and their dog knew that his play style doesn't suit a team fighting for rings.

Look at Iggy.
Draymond is pathetic.
Because they need a scapegoat, despite LeBron having history of playing GM and fecking the team up at the Cavs.
LeBron is untouchable for the media and Lakers because he’s the only one keeping them relevant.
Steph just proving he can win on a cold Tueday night against Stoke. If GS are prime Barcelona, who do the current Lakers play like, Stoke?
We will always be relevant. Aren't you a Suns fan? Win one title ever before talking about your betters that way.
I tend to agree. Lakers haven't been relevant since the early 10s in terms of actually having a competitive team. Their ring in the covid season was a one off although I'm glad they won it for Kobe.Lakers are relevant because the NBA needs a west coast narrative. ESPN is their biggest media partner and have studios in LA for that reason.
Any news isn't always good news, and that's been a fact for the Lakers for a while now. The Covid-championship papers over massive cracks, just like it did for their fellow LA team, the Dodgers.
It's only 1 game but the Pels look pretty darn good.
Zion killed Ben Simmons.
Surprised by Jazz destroying the Nuggets.

On the bright side, Russ only took 11 shots.I see Westbrook had a great night, Embiid also looked lost out there a bit.
Also on the bright side, he missed them all. Pain never felt so good.On the bright side, Russ only took 11 shots.
I was trying to be positive. Also on the bright side, he missed them all. Pain never felt so good.
I was trying to be positive.
What I don't get is why they continue to shoot 3s. They shot 25% (10 - 40) against the Dubs, but instead of trying to get into the paint or shoot some mid range, they double down. Against the Clippers they took 45 3s and of course shot an even worse percentage (9 - 45).
Makes absolutely no sense.

When Russ was in Houston, it really looked like he had understood where his weaknesses were and was self aware enough to know he should stop the things he wasn't good at. For a good stretch, he was killing teams with the mid ranger and driving to the basket. Obviously that was a D'Antoni team that had doubled down on small ball with sharp shooters everywhere, so he had so much space to work with.
I hope he gets out the circus that is the Lakers and finds himself a team where he can just enjoy being himself, probably a non-contending or a tanking team but those are the only teams that can let him be him, and I mean it's not like the Lakers are going to be contenders with him anyway.
Get out of the circus? Dude is the the clown car and his 3 point shot are the clowns continuously falling out of the car. He deserves no sympathy whatsoever for this situation. He is Ronaldo without any trophy’s other than his sham of an MVP.
He wasn't a clown show in Houston or in OKC, despite many ups and downs there. Being in the media circus that follows the Lakers 24/7 is genuinely exacerbating the problem. It's like a daily onslaught against him from local to national media, and now we have fans of the team he's playing for heckling him. From the outside looking in, it just seems like he's being made to be scapegoat for all that is wrong in LA.
