I can it causing a problem in an organization, if the person higher up feels pressure to promote the person with the lesser position.
Those are front office decisions though, not sure how much a head coach is involved in that, if at all?I can it causing a problem in an organization, if the person higher up feels pressure to promote the person with the lesser position.
I guess it would depend on the job. But even if it's in catering, I'm sure the coach can exert some influence. I expect the rule is about that influence. Those are front office decisions though, not sure how much a head coach is involved in that, if at all?
Could be mistaken though about the hierarchy in an NBA team.
It’s funny I know exactly what you mean but out of context this just sounds like the exact sentence that should be said about every good coach everywhereOnly reason he is still in a job is because he is a good coach
Makes you wonder if the member of the staff is related to one of the Celtics higherups. No way a consensual affair warrants an entire season suspension in the NBA.What's up with this Udoka story? You can get suspended for an entire season if you have a consensual relationship with a member of your staff?
What have you been watching? He can’t defend and his tunnel vision means he’ll start to chuck the ball once he gets it. Joe Ingles was a better playmaker and it’s why the Jazz suffered when he went down.Im so worried this season as a Suns supporter. We've had a lot of noise around the organisation. I think a lot depends on Ayton and Bridges.
Ayton needs to put the past behind him and continue to grow his game, he needs to put the end of last season behind him and now with 133m in his pocket its time to become a star. He has shown he can shoot the 3, as well as defend on the perimeter against bigger guys, but he needs to own the inside space. There is no reason why he cant become a formidable #2 option on a contending team. He isnt a big that can be played off the court. But it all comes down to his intensity and focus. If reports are true about his excessive gaming habits, and playing up until 5am on a game day then he will quickly find out the NBA is an unforgiving league, but I have so much faith in his overall talent.
Bridges has been such a stud on this team, but I think he can still improve in his shot creation, and I hope he has become stronger over the off season. He is a top 5 defender in the league but there was moments where he was physically weaker than some of the other small forwards he'd be matched up against.
Paul and Booker are the focal points of this team but CP3 is going to need to take a step back and focus on staying healthy at this point in his career and Booker will need help as the #1 option.
Would love to see if we could grab Jordan Clarkson off the Jazz now that they're rebuilding, would be great off the bench for added shot creation.
I predict us to go 54-28 this season but I hope the lessons theyve learnt over the past 2 seasons can make us a more professional outfit in the playoffs.
Clarkson is really really good off the bench. We need a spark plug who can show he can go high volume. But anyway it doesn’t have to be Clarkson, it can be anyone, it just so happens to be that he is on a rebuilding team and could be available. What have you been watching? Clarkson is the exact opposite of the type of player we should be going after. Selfish chucker who can’t play defense are easily available, you don’t need to get an expensive one.
How do you think you guys are going do this year? I was listening to Mark Spears and he was saying that the Suns media day was the most depressing he had ever been at in all his years of covering the NBA. Also, how do you think the Sarver business along with the Ayton/Monty Williams stuff is going to affect the team? What have you been watching? I don’t think the Sarver issue will matter much, the team has already known about it for years. Contract issue won’t be a problem as well, the players knows it’s just business and it’s James Jones that’s handling that and not Monty. How do you think you guys are going do this year? I hear Kelly Oubre could be available. He gets in the way.
He’s only good for the highlight, he lets up as many points as he scores and contributes nothing to a team that wants to contend for a championship. You want a high volume shooter who can’t defend, we already have one in Shamet who’s much cheaper.
What the team really needs is more forwards who can slow people down because Jae is gone and Mikal and Cam have problem slowing down bigger players than them.
There’s a reason why we didn’t keep him aroundI hear Kelly Oubre could be available. He gets in the way.
Wembayama at SF.The chance to see France with Embiid, Gobert and Wembanyama at the world cup is pretty high and fairly strange.
Don't really care about LeBron owning a team, but it'd be great if Seattle gets an NBA franchise again. Can they be called the Supersonics again then? I guess not since the naming rights move with a franchise and the Sonics are actually still the Thunder now?
I'm not sure it's automatic. OKC own the rights to the name and could easily play hardball if they wished. If it's anything like the Hornets/Bobcats situation even if Clay Bennett agrees it's still got to go to the NBA Board of Governors for a vote. As far as any history/records are concerned I think that would also be up to OKC as to whether they wanted to let them go or not.I believe they get their name/history back if they get a team.
Draymond leaking the footage himself to force a trade to LA
Most basketball "fights" are usually handbags at dawn, so when I heard this reported I presumed it was more of the same. It wasn't. Draymond cold cocked Jordan Poole. It was bad, and, then the media come out and try and downplay the whole thing. The Cowherd take in particular was reprehensible. I know Draymond's part of his "Volume" podcast network but the unmitigated support for his conduct was shameful. I've been a big supporter of Draymond for a years but for me this feels like the last straw. I really do think it might be time for him to go.NBA media doing their best to suck off Draymond and play down the altercation. Poole got clocked and possibly knocked out. If I was him I'd make Draymond pay for that. What a bum thing to do and yes I know it has happened before with Jordan etc
I mean, yeah this is fecking wild. Can these two continue on in the same team after this?
