Sign and trade would be complex in this case. He would need to select a team without cap space to go to, and he has really only been linked with LA and New York teams, all of whom have cap space.
Besides Warriors taking on additional salary, I’m not sure... I would not mind paying the tax for KD if I were them but not for other players.

Apparently Brogdon told Milwaukee he didn’t want to stay. They got one first rounder and a couple of second rounders for him.
If the Lakers use up much of their remaining space on 1-2 players it's possible the random dude could end up there as the salary would be very cheap!
