In some ways tonight also showed how big Klay is on defence, the number of open 3's raptors had was crazy. Warriors got killed at the C too and looney injury was pretty massive
Game 4 is super important now because you don't want to go back to Toronto down 3-1.Defence dreadful tonight. Hard to judge too much given the injuries but we need some bodies back and fast
Klay defense is definitely a big deal but I think a bigger issue was that there were so many lineups where players were just not used to playing with each other. In some ways tonight also showed how big Klay is on defence, the number of open 3's raptors had was crazy. I'm still not convinced KD is coming back. If the Dubs lose on Friday I think the series is over.Game 4 is super important now because you don't want to go back to Toronto down 3-1.
I agree. Game 4 is the Dubs final right now.I'm still not convinced KD is coming back. If the Dubs lose on Friday I think the series is over.
That's what I said at half time.Dubs needed Steph to go for 60. He went for 47. Not good enough
It's all Steph's fault. Useless oaf.It could be worse. If Steph can get 60 I think there's hope.....
Considering how good Curry’s been it’s worrying for Toronto that Durant still has to come back in.
Made some nice money on the Raptors today . Warriors now 1.83 whole Raptors 1.91 to win the series. Leaning towards the warriors because I still fancy them to pull this through
yikes now a clear travel. hopefully raptors fans will stop complaining about the refs now
The NBA might as well chuck the carry and travel rules (and both sides have been guilty tonight).
What on earth are you on about? Warriors got plenty of calls in this game, for example draymond being in the restricted area and his steal off Serge being a blatant foul. Neither of those was goaltending but Klay's out here punching balls out of nets in game 2. Last game was absurdly slanted to GSW, this game was more balanced but still contained plenty of shit reffing.
Don't care about decisions but both of them clearly hit the glass before the block which is definitely goal tending as per basketball rules
I don’t think that’s actually a rule in the NBA but it is in other leagues.
Well the commentators who have played in the league and coached in it said the same
Game 4 is a live or die for Warriors. Lose that one and it’s almost over. Raptors are in a more comfortable position.
KD possibly not being back at all changes the picture here. Without him those two teams are quite evenly matched and Raptors have the best player on the floor.
He had a really good workout (Tuesday), ramped it up, and it went well. He had another one today, it went well,” Kerr said. “So we would like to increase it (Thursday), meaning get other people involved. He hasn’t played any three-on-three, five-on-five.
“We probably won’t practice, practice as a team (Thursday). It will be a film session and a walkthrough. So if possible, we’ll get him together with some of our young guys, maybe a few of our coaches and try to get him out on the floor. That would be the next step.”
And Warriors insider John Dickinson suggests there could be some much needed good news for Golden State.
Responding to a question on Twitter on whether Durant will make his long-awaited return on Friday night, Dickinson suggested the 30-year-old will be available.
"Barring any setback tomorrow when he works out I would think so," he replied.

Why do you think so?
Kerr said that he's on course for game 4:
Klay will definitely be back. Due to the magnitude of the game I expect Durant to definitely get some minutes.
Dickinson also implied he will be back as well:
He didn’t actually say he was on course for game 4, did he?
He hasn’t even had 3-on-3 practice in a month and wasn’t even in consideration on Wednesday. The idea that he will be back to full fitness within two days is strange.
IMO there’s almost no chance he plays tomorrow and about 30% chance he plays in the series at all.
IMO they will definitely risk him considering how the series are going. Even if he doesn't make it tomorrow game 5 has enough time based on all reports to start. He should definitely be back for the series and even as soon as game 4.
Dubs team is depleted of injuries and even used sparingly next game he should get some game time IMO if they want to win it.
Personally I think his injury is much worse than they are saying. Initially he was supposed to be back for games in Portland, then they said they wouldn't risk him because the series was well under control, then he was only supposed to miss the start of Finals and he's already missed half of it. I really cannot see him in game 4, and if Raptors win that one and go 3-1 up with two home games left, they will have more than 50% of winning it. If it goes 2-2 but KD does not return, I may actually have Raptors as slight favourites as well.
Aside from third quarter of game 2 Raptors have outplayed them all series long on both ends of the court. To be honest since game 3 of Bucks series Raptors have been just phenomenal.
The series against Blazers they didn't really need him. Could've assessed him game by game and there was no point since they were beating them anyway. He might have had some setbacks but personally I'd like to see him feature. It's a pity one of the best players in the league(if not the best) to be sidelined for the playoffs.
Nah feck it. Warriors were never winning in 2015 if Kyrie and Love did not get injured. As a Toronto fan I actually want the raps to face a full GS team. If the Raps win the championship with Klay and KD sitting out most of it we’ll never hear the end of how we were an asterisked championship team.
Having said that no one really says the Warriors were lucky when they faced a depleted Cleveland team in 2015 with Kyrie and Kevin Love injured.
Who am I kidding, of course I want those guys out for the rest of the series
No it wouldn't.Warriors in 7 after going 3-1 down would be pretty hilarious tbf
its a playoff tradition. maybe if jjj develops youll create some of your own one day
Completely forgot you guys made the WCF at some point. Was scratching my head for a while everytime the Toronto commentators kept on banging on about Marc Gasol’s conference finals experienceWe've been in the playoffs before you insect
Weren't they swept in that one? Seems like ages ago.Completely forgot you guys made the WCF at some point. Was scratching my head for a while everytime the Toronto commentators kept on banging on about Marc Gasol’s conference finals experience
Yep, Spurs ran riot in that series. Not exactly sure that’s the experience Gasol wants to channel in these finalsWeren't they swept in that one? Seems like ages ago.

I like Skip and Shannon they make me laugh but if I was ever under the impression that this type of show is anything other than a ratings whore Skip Bayless definitely disabused me of that opinion. This morning when asked whether he was more impressed with Toronto or unimpressed with Golden State he answered that he was both impressed with Toronto and unimpressed with (wait for it) Steph Curry. In Bayless's world Steph shouldn't have shot as many mid range shots as he did, should have shot more threes and all in all 47 points just wasn't enough. Never mind that he was at doubled all night, he should have done more. If there is ever a business that tries to be more contrarian than Sports Talk I have yet to come across it. The other day I pointed out that Max Kellerman was a dumb ass for making outrageous claims about Iggy's shooting, today it's Skip about Steph's game 3 performance. I've come to the conclusion that instead of blaming others I'm the dumb ass for even listening to it.
