NBA 2018-2019

If KD is not the best player in the league, then the best in the league is Kawhi, not Giannis or Harden. Kawhi is bloody fantastic, he missed a season last year, but he is such a great player, whom for whatever reason is mentioned less from pundits than Giannis, despite easily being the better player.

He hasn't played as often this year due to load management. Despite this he's always number 1 on the "best 2 way player in the league" list. He gets his fair share of credit, and these kind of performances from him are not new (he was better IMO in the feckzaza playoff run).

Giannis is still better overall IMO.

Kawhi is going to the Clippers anyway, isn't he?

Impossible to say really. The Raptors have done everything to keep him happy, from reducing his minutes and resting him during the season to now proving they are capable of winning the East. It is hard to guess anything from his behavior, but he also doesn't seem like a type who wants to team up with another superstar as his primary motive, so there is the least talk about him going with Durant/Kyrie/Lebron.

On the other side being from LA has to be some factor also. Probably even he doesn't know atm.

But, what a brilliant postseason. The man is just a silent killer. Kills you on the defense also what is just as impressive as what he does on the other side.

If you count both ends of the floor definitely. He is starting to get deserved praise from all pundits now though.

I subscribe to that. It's either KD or Leonard.
Harden never was and never will be. Giannis is capable of becoming the best player if he keeps on improving.

Also a shoutout to Steph Curry.

I think he knows already. I stand by what Russillo said on BS podcast recently, those top tier guys must have a good idea of what they are going to do well in advance.

I'm leaning towards Clippers but not as convinced as I was before. Maybe 55/45 now. I don't think anyone other than Clippers and Raptors has a chance.

I agree with that. I prefer Kawhi in the clutch time but Giannis is a better player overall and one I would prefer building around.

I find all this criticism of Giannis recently really funny. He's had a couple of bad games in the series and suddenly he's not all that. They guy is 24 and he has just led his team to a 60-win season and conference finals, with incredible stats both in regular season and the playoffs and having good argument to be both MVP and DPOY. He's incredible.

Push comes to shove, Giannis can’t create his own shot. No surprise he was taken out towards the end. MVP.

He was taken out because he was limping and he has been creating his own shot all season long. His shot is either a layup or a dunk, and he can get past anybody to get it.

I'm wondering more and more if Kevin Durant may have played his last game for the Warriors. The irony of it is that the Dubs seem to want him to stay but if they win without him he's almost certainly gone.

I was at a bar last night watching the game. The bartender (who otherwise wouldn't care about the two teams) asked me, "is Drake there?"

So yeah.

I would have asked you if the woman with the incredible tan was at the game. Anyone noticed her in Toronto?

His insecurity will go through the roof if they win the Finals with him injured.

Ibaka, Gasol with 3 fouls is not good. Afraid this is going to game 7, Bucks just look a bit better overall. Was afraid since Sarni prediction tbh.

Sarni and his kiss of death.

Gotta keep it close and finish strong in the 4th.

I think we are favourites but I’m not expecting a sweep. Raptors are tough, and they crushed us at the Oracle.

Very happy they won tonight though. Though Drake is insufferable

Yessss :drool::drool:

Hopefully this has silenced everyone crying over the DeMar trade. This was the exact reason we traded him, even if it’s for a rental.

I’m hoping the warriors get complacent or there’s some KD or Draymond drama.
