NBA 2016-17

Yes I have been thinking the same whenever I saw them in the regular season without LeBron and ask myself what will happen if LeBron wasn't even present the whole season not just few games ?

The team is completely dependent on him and without his presence the team always looks dysfunctional. Even if they got good players as Irving they never perform unless LeBron is present. They are the " one player team " at the moment.

No chance in hell they do anything without LeBron. I am not even sure they'd make playoffs, probably not, even though Irving and Love are good players on their own they badly need his leadership to be able to win. They'd maybe, at a huge push, make it to .500 but I doubt it.

Giannis v LeBron in the next round if Bucks make it will be fantastic. They should probably try to install some tougher rims at both arenas because once they start dunking, they will quickly tear the normal ones down.

Still in awe how good Bucks were last night. What a team. It's amazing how at the Portland forum I am frequenting they are all saying the same thing i.e. they are supporting Milwaukee once Portland are out  Something so likeable about that team and I cannot imagine there is a single person in universe who dislikes Giannis.

feck Giannis.

I wish he was playing for us Suns instead of the Bucks.

So do 14 teams that passed on him and did not even consider him in the draft. Apparently people actually thought Bucks were crazy to get some random Greek at 15.

Well, we got CJ out of that draft so I cannot complain either.

Nah, Giannis was quite rated as someone with huge potential as he was the youngest in the draft. However, everyone knew he'd be a long-term project you'd have to commit and wouldn't be able to produce right away that's why a lot of teams didn't want to take the risk.
That draft was just weak in general; CJ, Giannis, Schröder, anyone else?

Wasn't that bad actually. Although to superstars, Oladipo, Porter, Hardaway Jr, Noel, Caldwell-Pope, Adams and Plumlee are all handy players. Rudy Gobert, CJ and Giannis are superstars out of that draft.

Class of 2012 was awesome... Davis, Beal, Lillard, Drummond, Green (at 36!) and Middleton (at 39!). And 2011.. Irving, Walker, Kawhi, Butler and IT.

...and Klay.

Rondo out indefinitely with a broken thumb. Opens new doors for Celtics
Two home games coming up for Bulls. I think if they win one of them, it's done. I actually reckon even without Rondo they are favourites. They have three decent backups. Wade and Butler performing at their best and Lopez rebounding will be crucial.

Or I am just lying to myself because I put money on them to win tonight's game.

OK I take it back. This is proper destroying.

Paul was brilliant in the win. Russ played slightly more reserved this match, and allowed his teammates to play while he also had great stats. Harden missing two threes in the end gave the win to OKC.

Despite the win, I think that this will end in 5 matches.

Harden put in a great performance imo can't blame him for those misses, we can take a look at the disappointing performance from Beverly and Anderson though.

Ok, just read Griffin is out for the remainder of the playoffs with a toe injury. That just sucks for the Clippers. I don't know if they will make it past Utah now. And i guess both CP3 and Griffin are free agents next summer and this was probably their last season. Clippers have been so unlucky with injuries.

Typical.

Raptors won and tied the series 2-2. This series is going to game 7 undoubtedly and anyone of the 2 teams can progress.

I actually like the competitiveness of the Raptors/Bucks and Wizards/Hawks. I feel both series will go 7 and you see the animosity growing between the sides.

The injury to Blake ends any chance they had of making a deep playoff run, which will likely spell the end of this Clippers' era. You'd have to say they underachieved with this core, never even reaching the Western Conference finals.

Toronto with a nice bounce back win after their poor game 3 performance with Derozan redeeming himself. Still can't trust them to make serious noise in t

KD will sit out tonight's game along with Steve Kerr who is suffering an illness. You have to wonder about his health and if the rigors of being an NBA head coach is taking its toll on his health. He's also had previous health issues stemming from his back.

Nurkic also set to play tonight according to reports which is a boost for Portland.

With this and the Wall/Schroder stuff this series is getting testy. It should also shut up people who think players in the NBA today are too chummy.

What a game. Marc Gasol with the winner. Kawhi played unbelievable, the clutchest performance in the playoffs thus far, but comes up short to Conley and Gasol who also delivered in crunch time.

Memphis tie the series with San Antonio. Kawhi is amazing, but Conley did enough to make his effort futile. I need a new heart.

We won this despite giving the ball away 23 times. Spurs have the advantage going back to Texas, but this will go to 6 or 7 games.

Would've loved Leonard to hit that game winner, incredible last 5 minutes from him.

Close playoff matches are as good as Sport gets for me, that was brilliant.

That's what I call sticking one's neck out. :)

Damn. When the Warriors get going... sheesh. No team can match them when they turn it on.

19-1 run to take the lead.

Feck me we were useless in the second half. Started very hot with Nurkic playing, were up by 14 points and then he went off and it all fell apart.

Iggy is a fantastic player, the best sixth player in the league IMO. He was as good as Steph for this match.

Kawhi giving an unbelievable clutch time performance, but still falling short.

Demoralizing loss for the Blazers. Still think they can win game 4, but I think that game 3 loss essentially killed the series as a whole. Felt a bit sorry for Jusuf Nurkic. The flesh was willing, but he had almost no lateral movement at all. Reminded me a bit of Steph last year. On the Dubs side of things, I hope Steve Kerr can get back ASAP. Fortunately, he has built a "team" with an awful lot of almost interchangeable parts if somebody goes down (coaches included) so even if he's out a while, the loss is not necessarily fatal.

Paul 'I have to take the last shot' George took the last shot and totally missed the ring. he was a bit shit tonight.

I feel a bit for Pacers, the 4-0 defeat really was unfair to them considering that they were close to winning each of the matches (especially first, third and fourth match), but that is the life. If you can't concentrate for the entire match, James is there to punish you.

That was beautiful

Westbrook is playing very good. He isn't going for hero shots in each attempt, instead he is allowing the team to play by spreading the ball to all players.
