lol13 point lead for GSW at the half. Have a feeling it will be a close game in the 4th.

I used to do that alot last season, and it used to be fun most of the times. It was exciting like the playoffs. Haven't watched them enough this season though, and when i do, it doesn't seem as exciting as last season. It's like they got it too easy.Waking up to watch a Golden State regular season game. Never again.
Yeah man, way too overpowered. Like watching Michael Schumacher in the 2004 F1 season, he'd be a couple of laps ahead minutes after the race has started and no point in watching the rest of it.It's like they got it too easy.
7 of 30 from 3Ok, my bad
When they shoot well, there is no stopping them.
Yeah Curry was 0-8 from 3pt line.7 of 30 from 3
Durant 5 of 17
Klay 8 of 18
Curry 7 of 16
The scary thing is they really didn't shoot well
If Warriors had a competent center, I think that they would have been doing now what Chicago did in the nineties. But the lack of it (and the general lack of height) might be exposed, especially in days when they don't shoot that well (like yesterday). When they shoot well, it just doesn't matter though.
Durant is clearly playing for the ring this year. Much more a team player than he ever was for the Thunders.
I think the point is though that those three all-stars occasionally give him the ball back..........He does have three all-stars to give the ball too and play around rather than just one other dude though.
Huh?Durant is clearly playing for the ring this year. Much more a team player than he ever was for the Thunders.
Sure, he was never as selfish as Westbrook is/was, but it looks to me that now his game has changed even more (for the good), and he is totally focused on the team, rather than on personal stats. He will have one of his worst ever season in terms of points scored, but play better than he ever did. And win rings in process.Huh?
People constantly got on Durant for not being more greedy in Oklahoma, for letting Westbrook be the Alpha dog. Durant has always been a team player...almost to a fault.
He's playing on a better team...a team where everyone shares the rock. Not to mention, they're averaging 30+ assists a gameSure, he was never as selfish as Westbrook is/was, but it looks to me that now his game has changed even more (for the good), and he is totally focused on the team, rather than on personal stats. He has the scoring titles...he has the MVP....what he needs is a ring(s). It's funny because if he were to retire today - he'd be in the HoF - and he's only 28.
Durant -
Career Average - 27.4 ppg
Last season - 28.2
This season - 26.5
So, he actually hasn't had to sacrifice THAT much of his scoring (Klay is scoring at the same rate as last season, Steph is averaging 26 this season - he got 30 a night last season)...and that's because, the Warriors will always feed the hot hand. If you're on...you'll get the rock again and again.
The Okc vs Rockets game was terrible.Harden 6-23 & Russ 8-25 and just generally awful Basketball.
I agree, I don't think it's so much him changing his game as it is him now playing in a system that encourages more sharing of the ball. It obviously helps having great players around too.
And whose now has the 4th highest record in the league having played the Spurs twice, Warrios, OKC twice, and TorontoMeh,his team just lost to a Rockets team whose starters went 19-63 from the floor.
I know he got the triple double yday but he was terrible, so was Harden but it was an off night shooting for him, Westbrook is always shooting like this, and if you watch closely his teammates box out for him to get his rebounds, I just think people are overrating him on his stats.LeBron had some things to say about him averaging a triple double.
"Westbrook could do it. He’s capable of doing it. He’s showing it. He’s like The Energizer Bunny. He just doesn’t get tired. And when you have that passion for the game as well, it’s very doable.”
You know, the game has definitely changed a little bit. It’s almost feeling like the game is back in the 80’s. You know, when teams were putting up 145 (points) and 135, more possessions, and more shot attempts. They weren’t shooting as many three’s, but it was a lot of possessions. So, with that being said, you know, with his athleticism, him being able to go get those rebounds…he handles the ball for the majority of the game for OKC, so he’s going to get the assists. So, for him, it’s very doable.”
We've had this discussion to death, clearly people disagree on it and it doesn't look like it's gonna change.I know he got the triple double yday but he was terrible, so was Harden but it was an off night shooting for him, Westbrook is always shooting like this, and if you watch closely his teammates box out for him to get his rebounds, I just think people are overrating him on his stats.
Yeah I know, I watched the game last night and thought I should comment on it.We've had this discussion to death, clearly people disagree on it and it doesn't look like it's gonna change.
Not really, it was one of his worst games of the season. That game summed Westbrook up in a nutshell. Great energy, meaningless triple double, horrible shooting and pretty dumb decision making, especially in the end.
