Put CP3 on that Nets team in that Eastern Conference and they still would have reached the finals.
Kidd, along with The Glove, was one of the best defenders ever who played PG. He also has the 3rd most triple-doubles in NBA history. Nash was a 2-time NBA MVP. Both are easily in the conversation.Kidd couldn't shoot, Nash couldn't defend. Neither of them are in the conversation.

Of course. He wasn't known for his defence, but he's much better than Paul at running the offence, and he's also a better shooter as well.Steve Nash over Chris Paul?
Paul couldn't win? That's too simplistic imo. Both are better leaders (among other qualities) than Paul. And even without those two you got your five, and I haven't even thought long about the list.Kidd couldn't shoot, Nash couldn't defend. Neither of them are in the conversation.

For me the jury is still out of Paul. He hasn't even done anything that would separate him from today's point guards. If Westbrook wins a championship then our next discussion will be if Paul is actually better than Westbrook. And then you have Curry, Irving, who still have a chance to prove themselves.. It's not all about FG% or one-dimensional stats.
Ok, looking forward to your next Larry Sanders gif.

How is that better than being voted the MVP?!Don't know what you want me to say Danny, we've had this discussion before.
No matter how many times I point out things like Chris Paul being voted onto tons of all nba teams, I just get back one liners about TS% or FG%.

He hasn't played for the Hornets for 4 years now. In fact, I had the same opinion as you before he moved to the Clippers, and I really thought he would take the Clippers to the next level, but even with a lot of quality on the team, even with Doc Rivers coaching, he failed to take the team to the next level.Jury is still out on Paul? he is easily the best all round PG in the game, would you still rate Nash higher than Paul if we put him in that Hornets team and Paul in D'antoni's suns?
Um, Nash? Winning the MVP twice?Who said it is? What argument are you making?
Um, Nash? Winning the MVP twice?
Kobe deserved the one in 2006.If you actually believe he deserved both then sure.
If we're going to argue merits then there is no point of using subjective awards/titles.If you actually believe he deserved both then sure.
I think you might have just made him give it back to Nash.Kobe deserved the one in 2006.
Lakers agree 3yr $21m deal with Lou Williams.

If he manages to lead any team in the future to some sort of success that would definitely put him higher on my list, but till now he hasn't, so I'm not just going to call the fight over, especially with Curry just coming off a season where he won the MVP and a championship.
PelicansMost exciting teams to watch out for next season?

Would you say they signed BB as a replacement for Amir or as just a straight backup to Jonas?
I can't see him replacing Amir, your spacing would be absolutely zero, especially since Jonas loves posting up.
Lou Will is awesome.
You know, as much as I loved him at TO he was actually a bit of a liability. Sure his clutch 3s were great to watch but more often then not him on the court meant we couldn't move the ball very well (and we're already shockingly average at that).
Interesting to see how the Lakers use him, though I'd imagine they'd be better off focusing on building an actual starting backcourt.
Any chance Derozan is leaving now?

Not basketball wise. He has 2 girlfriends and gets shouted out by Drake.
