I love Wade, but in endgame situations, give the ball to James. His decision making is far better in these situations.

Great game, and great defense from both sides.

Good half, Lakers losing by 1pt

Lakers finally playing with some intensity. Decent D but impressive thing for me had been the ball movement on offense. Turnovers still remain a problem.

Kobe has been a good distributor the last 1.5 games. I wonder how long this phase lasts.

If LeBron is so great, why didn't he stop Greg Monroe from having 31 points and 12 rebounds against his team?

Lakers still 2 games ahead of Detroit. That's all I want out of this season, a better record than the Pistons.

But i won't hold my breath.

Umm I didn't want to bring it up, but..

Fantastic win for the lakers.

Good intensity on both ends, Kobe passing the ball makes the offense so much better. Turnovers and FTs are still an issue, but the last two performances have been a lot better from the lakers.

Championship, here we come

oh boy ,just play like this for the rest of the year .first time delighted by a lakers game this season

The last two games are just evident that if Kobe does not hog the ball and take stupid shots, the Lakers have a better chance of winning. He has taken a combined 22 shots and made 15 of them in the last two games.

What's even more important than that is that he keeps everybody active and involved, which also reflects on defense.

I understand why you wouldn't want to bring it up, it is quite embarrassing. Having to pay off the refs in order to win a game in January? Pathetic, though we shouldn't expect much better from King James and his sycophantic teammates. Giving up 31 points in a quarter is not the sign of a championship team. You should bet against the Heat now so that when they curl up in the fetal position after finding themselves down 3 games to 1 to the Bucks in the first round, you'll at least have some money to drown your sorrows in.

For a game to end in a 22-point margin because of the refs, the refs would have had to take some threes for the Heat.

I wanna see a Pistons Heat matchup in the playoffs. Just to see Eboue and Danny1982 go at it.

Rondo's out for the season. I don't see how the Celtics can compensate for his loss.

So we're chasing Houston for the 8th seed right now. 4 games behind i think. Need to get a good win streak going.

How does the HoF work? Is it dependant on what impact the player left on the sport or is it any decent player can get in?

Fisher won 5 titles and was one of the hardest working players but I wouldn't consider him a HoF candidate. Only the best of the best deserve to be in there.

Fisher is going to be a very hard sell...we all get he was crucial to those Lakers teams, but his numbers are mediocre to say the least.

So if posting pics of a player with a trophy rebuts a HOF statement then I suppose I could post pics of Jack Haley with multiple rings, or John Paxson, or even past all-stars like Michael Cooper and Byron Scott. Completely missed was the "friends telling him" bit.

Lame.

They haven't let Mark Jackson in yet (I don't think), and he's 2nd all time in assist. Fisher will never get in. I highly doubt Bosh will, unless Miami win a ton of titles and his profile goes way up.

You just wasted a few seconds of your precious time, because my point was: "Doesn't matter because he's a champ!"

Completely missed was the "friends telling him" bit.

Just checked it for that bit..

Bosh: "Hell, yeah, of course. I've been a Hall of Famer like four years ago," the Miami Heat center told FOX Sports Florida after Friday's 110-88 win over Detroit. "And I say that very serious, though. I've talked about it before with my friends."

So yeah, that bit

Chris Bosh says he's a HOFer because his friends tell him that.

was bullsh*t.

Even better.

"I surmised that I was a Hall of Fame player four years ago. I figure 4 seasons scoring 20+ for one of the worst teams in the league is all it takes. My hangers-on agreed with me, when i brought my hypothesis to their attention, so it has to be true."

He later added, "I hope to be inducted with Kevin Martin, Richard Jefferson and Kenyon Martin."

Source?

Lakers with another win! Defense remains a big problem and Pau isn't happy sitting on the bench, but at least Howard is playing closer to his actual ability and Kobe still got double-digit assists.

Tough 7 game road trip now will give us a better idea if these Lakers have actually improved. Need to win at least 5 of those games.

D'Antoni is a million dollar paperweight, who makes befuddling decisions.

Why he chose to go with Jamison instead of Gasol to close the game, I do not know.

because Gasol was 6/1 from the line and Jamison gave them dribble penetration witch they needed badly (kobe being doubled all the time)

Edit:
Really happy for Clark , 4/5 from 3, 20 points

Triffic first quarter for the lakers. Up by 13 and nice ball movement on offense. I hope the D holds up and we win this game...
