Well the Lakers eventually limped to a 11 pt win, despite leading by 29pts at one point in the first half. Finally winning on the road.

Started very well from 3-pt land but cooled off and we struggled when the Minnesota went to a zone defense. Bryant continues to pass which is nice but this constant habit of throwing away big leads in games is annoying (even if we won tonight) and needs to stop.

Just by seeing the highlights, i can see a different Lakers team, with very good ball movement. It would have been great if we'd have won the last game too, but its alright. We just need to keep this going, and carry our momemtum, and we'd be just making the playoffs.

It would be good if Bron-Bron went back to Cleveland but I don't see that happening. Lakers apparently will be clearing cap room to make a move for him, I doubt that will happen either.

Clippers almost came back from 19 down against Boston. Soft offensive foul call on Crawford at the end i thought. Clutch 3 pointer from Pierce to kill it at the end

Remaining games:
Red: away against a playoff team* = 11
Dark Red: home against a playoff team = 9
Dark Green: away against non-playoff team = 7
Green: home against a non-playoff team = 7

Even though the Lakers have won 5 of the last 6 games, those were relatively easy games they were expected to win anyway (apart from the Oklahoma win which was really big even though it was a home game for the Lakers).. However those were still important wins because it will give them the much needed confidence to move forward..

The real test for them will be the next 10 games.. If they can win 6-7 or more of them then they are in a good position to qualify for the playoffs. 5 wins or less might not be enough for them at this stage and they could be in trouble..

Also they need to improve their away form. They can't afford to drop games against non-playoff teams (like Toronto and Phoenix).. To hit that 45 win mark they will basically need to win all of the green, dark green and dark red games, which means any game dropped from those games will have to be compensated by an away win against a strong (playoff) team, which isn't that easy..

There isn't great nba coverage over here, until playoffs. So I usually watch only few games per week. So mostly its about news. But I do like spurs a bit and I definitely hate lakers. Hence this season has been a pleasure so far, hopefully rockets finish above them.

I don't get to watch a lot of games but i try to keep up to date with the NBA, NBA.com is pretty handy for this. I support OKC, although i haven't managed to catch any of their games so far this season. I mostly lurk this thread because you guys all seem more knowledgeable about the game then me.

I was also a Bulls fan, in the days of Jordan, as well. Thankfully WGN on cable meant i could watch all their games. I don't think any other basketball team had so many games on basic cable in those days.
