Nba 2010-2011

What the hell happened there?? I thought the game was officially over! 12 points lead with 3 minutes to go!

Oh my..

Anyway, I guess Chicago needed more scorers in the end. But I don't think that would be a problem for the Mavs. Dirk can't be guarded OR double-teamed (with kid and Terry on the wings), and the heat can't spread out to protect the three point line because Barea will just drive in and have the easy lay-up.

Very tough match up for Miami. Besides, I don't think having the first game home after a 5 day lay off works for the home team.

Add to that Dallas has the single most important factor that Chicago lacked. Experience. Dallas has every chance to pull this one off to give Dirk his ring, finally.
Also, as if they need another incentive, just remember what happened the last time they met in the Final

The way Dirk left the conference title ceremony was like: "Leave me alone. I got some unfinished business to do.."

It was only him and Terry, but both remember VERY WELL what happened 5 years ago..

On a side note, when was the last time you saw a game where both teams shoot under 40% from the field??!!

Both Bulls & Thunder had dreadful 4th quarters in their series, failing to close out games or Durant/Rose would go missing. I guess inexperience told.

Looking forward to the finals, will be interesting how the Heat deal with Dirk, so far he has been unguardable. I think the bench scoring will be very important and Dallas' bench has been impressive so far.

Finals start today. Heat are probably the favorites but Dirk has been phenomenal and the Mavs bench has played well.

Should be a good series, I hope the Mavs win but I have to go with the Heat to win in 6.

The Heat aren't good against a team with good shooters, and the Mavs are incredible shooters (including the bench).

Mavs to win.

The Mavs are leading without even shooting well.. Miami is in trouble..

They are not shooting well because they are being defended very well, it is not as if they are missing easy shots.
Throughout the playoffs, the Heat rally in the second half anyway, they stay close to you then rip your heart out.

Heat in 5 I reckon.

Just too much offensively for the Mavs. Seriously, when things are tight, who the hell on the Mavs is going to stop LeBron or Wade?

Maybe the Mavs offended Wade in some way, I don't understand why he is so clutch against them. Looks like 2006 all over again.

Then watch, it is going to be LeClutch time now

If you foul Dirk, it is auto two points. He is 142-152 FT in playoffs. Damn.

It is over now...
That alley-oop was developed at the Olympics

Who was better of the Big 2? I think Wade had a better game but I think LeBron took the big shots especially with the four 3s. OKC must be thinking that they'd be in the finals if Nowitzki were playing like this against them, missing some open shots.

Man of Game 1 - Wade.

Miami is a good defensive team, agreed, but Dallas missed some open shots tonight. They shot 37%, and still the game was really close until late.

If Miami can make Dallas shoot this bad every game, then credit to them. But I just can't see Dallas shooting 37% every game.

Game 2 will be big for both teams. You can never predict what will happen, but I just feel Dallas are more likely to up their shooting percentage considerably in the second game.

Yes but it's hardly as Miami played well either.

Miami always looked like it could move up one or two gears if needed.

Hopefully Mavs can win game 2, although I don't think they'll shoot 37% every game, if they go 0-2 down it will be very difficult to come back.

Gutted I'm going to miss the Finals due to college exams over the next 2 weeks :(

The Heats crack me up, especially Wade, when he throws an alley-oop to LeBron, he does not even watch the results, he just glides away

Dirk has a torn tendon in his left hand middle finger. It might start to affect his shooting. Hopefully the Heat can take full advantage of this.

Shaq announces he is retiring. Great player and glad he has called it a day, hasn't been fit for a long time and no need to ruin his legacy.

good d by the Mavs but terrible shooting. missed tons of open shots and shots in the paint. heat got some home cooking from the refs but nothing to complain about. win or lose i what jason terry gone. very inconsistant shooting and very little on d.

At this rate, they might at well not go to Dallas at all, just give them the trophy. This is sick.

Mavs are coming back with good D now. From 13 point game to 4 points. Can they get one more stop and then go and score? LeBron is stinking it up.

That took heart, lots of heart.

O oo, the heat thought it was over.

1-1
Lets go to Dallas.

Heat thought it was over. And it seems like Dallas is going to do to Miami what they did to them in 2006..

Miami now have to win in Dallas! Will they lose this one 4-1?

Get in Mavs!!

What a comeback, but fecking hell Bosh's defence was pathetic, Dirk left him for dead on the game-winner.

Great start by Dallas, Wade's made some incredible shots already and Bosh is crying like a little bitch, he needs to stop being such a wimp and play some real basketball if the Heat are to win this series.

That game 2 loss will decide the series, because it was that kind of losses.

Miami are driving to the basket in almost every single possession this game, but they can't do that all game long. They'll eventually tire, and as jump shooters they are no match to the Mavs who are really finding their rhythm in this game.

Mavs to win this one.

How gross is it for a reporter when they question players at the end of the half and they sweat and drip on the reporter's hands?

Damn did not know Mike Miller had such difficulties when his daughter was born a few weeks back. Hopefully she can recover and good luck to him and his family!
