Nba 2010-2011

Haslem has kept Miami in this tonight. Without his contribution they'd be down by a good ten or more.

Pretty sloppy out there so far. Like neither team is grabbing the bull by the horns.

Haslem is a VERY important player for Miami, and was very important for them winning that 2006 title. And being one of only two player earning more than the minimum wage in Miami (beside the big three), they were a bit unlucky not to have him for most of the season.

Still I didn't see such a performance coming from him in virtually his first game after coming back from that long injury.

The series isn't over yet.

Important win for the Heat but looking at the stats Bulls really struggled shooting only 34% yet seemed to be close to the Heat for most of the night. I still have the Heat winning in 6 but the Heat don't seem to be able to dominate the Bulls as they did Boston.

Had Miami all over it after the first. Probably one of the weakest all round Bulls performances all year, hopefully that's the only one for the series. I wouldn't even put it down to great Heat d, just a lacking performance, hungover from how brilliant game 1 was I assume.

I've never seen Rose miss so many shots including layups you'd bet decent amounts of money on him converting. Regardless of the series outcome, Chicago needs to do whatever it can to acquire another scoring option. Perhaps they could somehow sign David West (ETO) or Jason Richardson (UFA) depending on cap space and CBA problems.

I see a split in Miami setting up the proverbial "crucial game five."

OKC win and tie the series 1-1. I can see this series going to a game 7, lots of scoring in both games so far. Durant & Dirk were brought down to earth after their incredible efforts in game 1.

Mavs won, suprised it finished so close as they dominated the first half and were up by about 20 when I went to sleep.

The Bulls are hanging on in this one, like the Heat did in the last game.. It won't surprise me if they pull this one off.

By the way, Wade could have stayed home in the first half.

Heat win. Big game from Bosh, Heat were very good defensively but the Bulls struggled - they have to win game 4.

fecking Thunder! How the hell do you blow a 15 point lead with only 4:30 left in the game. You seem to be bigger bottlers than Arsenal and Mavs. Once Harden went out, they just pressed the self destruct button.

The Bulls I don't think have what it takes to beat the Mavs. Its up to the Heat to stop the Mavs. If the Heat win game 4, I will be happy.

the Mavs got hot, and played some great defence, while okc went ice cold and brain dead. ice cold and brain dead are a lethal combination.

I'm fairly certain Derrick Rose doesn't have a brain. The last two possessions during the 4q were amazingly stupid of him.

How on earth do the Bulls manage to lose to the Heat when they have 10+ possessions EVERY game?!

The Bulls could have very easily regained their home-court advantage tonight. The series isn't over yet.

Because they are playing Rose out of it, pretty impossible for him to do anything when he either has Wade or Lebron on him all the time, since well Korver is awful and they know Deng isn't going to light it up, so they can both shy off them a bit. Jordan rules, Lebron rules, Kobe rules(before Pau came), Iverson rules, now Rose rules.....it's the price you pay for not having a legit 2nd option really.

Really hope they don't lose at the UC though, this series is too good(though ugly, but defensive series are the best) to only be a 5 game one. But when you have 2 closers who've been this far and further before vs the 1 in his first finals. It's pretty tough for Rose. Like all the guys I mentioned above, he'll learn and grow from it. Although unlike the guys above, he has a great great coach already in place. MJ himself would of been a "choker" to the many far too quick to label and criticise players if that Pistons series happened in the internet age....I just hope it won't have the same effect on Rose that it did on Lebron and him leaving in free agency eventually.

Looks like a Heat-Dallas final. Saw the first half of the game and I was impressed by Heat's defense on Rose, Bulls defense improved from game 3 but LeBron kept hitting the tough shots.

I hope the Mavs can stop the Heat, winning a title in their first season together with a 3-man team would be a big statement.

Mike Brown appointed as Phil's replacement in LA. Is it a good choice?

He is a good coach. There is a big problem though.. Kobe doesn't seem to like him, and that's a BIG problem. Miami's biggest strength this season was the fact that they stayed together through the tough times..

It would be interesting to see what Kobe has to say if the Lakers go off to a 9-8 start. My prediction? They'll make a good run in the regular season, but the Lakers will be heading for another early playoff exit, UNLESS they do some good trades/signings.

I thought they might go with either Kurt Rambis or Brian Shaw because they know the system - the triangle offense. I am not sure what type of system Brown is going to use and how many players will actually be satisfied with him.

It was a pretty stupid move by the Bulls to isolate Rose with Lebron late in the game because LeBron is a good defender and he is quick so he can keep up with Rose. They should have set a screen for Rose, so he can come it and shoot or use the screen to drive to the rim.

I actually hope the Heat win this year. I will be sick if I have to see Terry, Marion and Cuban lift the trophy. I hate everyone on the Mavs except Dirk.

Chicago once again dominating the boards.. Wade's off week continues.. And the ball just seem to be too slippery for Miami, 3 passes = turnover. Unbelievable.

The way things are going right now, game 6 in Miami will be a cracker!

The Bulls have somehow managed to snatch defeat out of the jaws of victory.... Having said that though Miami have found an extra gear in the 4th throughout this series.

Rose has been pretty dreadful in this series, too much pressure on him to create. What a waste of money Carlos Boozer is, disappeared again.

What the hell happened there?? I thought the game was officially over! 12 points lead with 3 minutes to go!

Oh my..

Anyway, I guess Chicago needed more scorers in the end. But I don't think that would be a problem for the Mavs. Dirk can't be guarded OR double-teamed (with kid and Terry on the wings), and the heat can't spread out to protect the three point line because Barea will just drive in and have the easy lay-up.

Very tough match up for Miami. Besides, I don't think having the first game home after a 5 day lay off works for the home team.

Add to that Dallas has the single most important factor that Chicago lacked. Experience. Dallas has every chance to pull this one off to give Dirk his ring, finally.
