Nba 2010-2011

only 29 points for the Thunder in the 2nd half...that is unbelievable.

Assuming Durant doesn't have another career low, it has to be them at home. But either way, this has been a great series.

Dominant performance & win for OKC. Durant was a exceptional & Westbrook really impressed with a triple-double; he made some beautiful passes. Thunder have a great future ahead of them if they manage to keep Durant for a long period of time.

Mavs-Thunder final in the West, I'd like OKC to win but the way the Mavs & Dirk played against LA they have to be the favorites.

Heat-Bulls later, I'm going for Heat to win in 6.

Great game. Finally Westbrook is playing like a point guard. Great triple double from Westbrook, great 39 from Durant.

Feel sorry for Memphis though. It was as close as a triple OT game in the end.

It's Chicago vs Dallas in the finals.

The Bulls take game 1, and they did it on the boards. Interesting to see how the Heat will respond in game 2.

Terrific win for the Bulls, Deng was very impressive.

They were more energetic, got a lot of offensive rebounds and the bench did a good job. The Bulls defense was excellent, Miami found it difficult to get any momentum.

That offensive rebound summed the Bulls game up, wow!

British Legend Luol was great tonight.

Guess MJ was right when he said he'd be the difference of this team being a contender and a winner, although all of them in their own right are. The bench can be on fire when it wants to be, Mavs/Bulls would be such a deep finals. But OKC/Heat have the better stars who can just take over a game.

The dunk near the end from Gibson was incredible, summed up the second half performance from the Bulls, though I have a feeling last night was the easiest ride they will get, surely Miami will be able to make an adjustment?

The guys on Mike & Mike had Stacy King and others on air and most are saying the Heat will have problems because any alteration in schemes the Heat attempt will play into the Bulls hands. Chicago has both size and athleticism in their favor. It's going to be basically the Heat's trio vs the Bulls five. Granted it's been basically that same trio vs every other opponent all year.

The biggest factor noted was Thibadeau. He's the guy that created the schemes in Boston that have shut down LeBron and Wade in the past.

Rumor I heard recently... Bynum and Odom (and perhaps a third player and/or draft pick(s)) to Orlando for Howard and Arenas. What do you clowns think of that?

Does that work cap wise? Arenas is on a ton of money....

Plus, Arenas and Kobe on the same team :uhoh: Being a long time Bullets/Wizards fan I know about the upside of Agent Zero, but he just isn't the same player he used to be.

Arenas and Artest plus Kobe could be amazing or a train wreck.

Could Arenas play the point in this league? Is he even quick these days?

Otherwise, that's quite a bit of loot for a backup guard.

I believe it was stated that Arenas might go in the deal so Orlando can get out from under the contract. That LAL might do it just to get Howard. But he's due over 60m for the next three years, which will probably drop 10-20% when the new CBA is completed. That's still a lot of cash for a player that has peaked.

Salary wise, it doesn't match up so it was probably some half-ass rumor drummed up on Twitter or something. They'd have to toss Artest (6.8m) in there to get within trade rules (20%) I think.

Bynum 15.2 + Odom 8.9 = 24.1
Howard 17.9 + Arenas 19.3 = 37.2

So Lakers will basically be handed a great player (plus a questionable/decent one) for two solid but overall average players.
Sounds like a great deal. Orlando will probably take it.
We can't have Lakers not being champions for such an extended time.

I used to be a fan of arenas back when he and kobe were fighting for top scorer in his wizard days, but he's taken such a dive to becoming a pretty shit player this past season. Would rather have jameer nelson tbh. Arenas is over the hill imo, but maybe a move to the lakers could jumpstart his career, who knows.

You know it's Howard they are after, no matter who else gets involved in the trade.

Dirk being huge and the Mavs are pulling away at 83-68 late in the 3rd. hope they don't piss it away!

edit: 48 points for Dirk...24-24 from the free-throw line...and no 3s attempted.

Dallas 121, okc 112

what an amazing game by Durant,

10-18 FGs
18-19 FTs
40 points
8 rebounds
5 assists
2 blocks

But unfortunately for Durant,

Dirk Diggler decided to be superhuman

12-15 FGs
24-24 FTs
48 points
6 rebounds
4 assists
4 blocks

That was a shot you could have a wank to.

Aside from that though, Miami looks hopeless. The Bulls were shooting <30%, and the game was still even. You can't let this team do that.

Miami are hanging by a thread there... Third quarter will be key if the Heat can keep it close in the second.

Did I hear it right? Chicago shot 38% in the first half. Miami shot 52% and they are leading only by 2???!!! Wow!

Haslem has kept Miami in this tonight. Without his contribution they'd be down by a good ten or more.

Pretty sloppy out there so far. Like neither team is grabbing the bull by the horns.
