So let's talk about real important matters, such as the reason why Lebron is DEFINITELY not coming back to Cleveland. I didn't want to bring this prematurely, because like Rafa Benitez, I am all about reporting real facts. But two days and two sources have gone by, so I think it might actually be true. Sit down before you read this:

Lebron blames the Cavaliers for allowing Delonte West to feck HIS MOM.:lol::lol:

I think West's move trumps anything that John Terry or Cashley Cole have done.

They kept hinting that something was going on in the locker room, and it was this, talk about classic. Another player banging LeBron's mom hahahhahahahahha

I don't believe that at all. Sounds like someone has created a fun rumor. Or his mom is a slut.

Here's another rumor for you, heard this during the broadcast the other night.

Bosh to LAL for Bynum, another player and/or draft pics.

There's also mention that David Lee wants out of NY. However, if they could lure LeBron there, then I suspect Lee might change his mind. Though retaining Lee and signing LeBron would not leave cap space to get another top tier player but they could sign Rudy Gay to play SG and McGrady said he'd take a veteran salary offer to play with LeBron and company.

They could allow Lee to go, sign LeBron and Bosh/Stoudemire, then ship Curry's expiring contract out for a PG.

Another rumor is LeBron to the Nets who then draft Wall, Turner, Favors or Cousins (depending on which pick they end up with; guaranteed top three). There is talk they could ship the top three pick in a sign-and-trade deal for Bosh. I'm not sure how they would work out the salaries though. If they get the top pick they're drafting Wall which renders Harris as a trade bait.

If the Knicks and/or Nets miss out on LeBron, expect one/both to go hard for Durant in 2011.

Alvin Gentry looks like a bumbling idiot on the sidelines tonight, for some reason he reminds me of Porky the Pig

Guaranteed top four. Leave it to a Kings fan to tell you what can happen if you get the worst record in the league.

In fairness the 5th pick could be as good as the 1st you never no, there is no Shaq or LeBron this year. The shame is if there were still HS players coming out the drafts would be so much better

Yeah in hindsight I'm happy we got the 4th last year.

I'm sure we could find talent at the 5th, I'm just sick of falling in the lottery (even though it's only been twice or so). Although I was half expecting us to fall all the way to 6th.

I would've loved to see Minnesota get the first pick.

I just wish the Nuggs would have got #1 in 2003, reckon Lefail would have won a title or two

Thank god Detroit risked it on Darko hahaha, they would have won another title or two or three with Melo

Howard would be so much better if he could shoot free throws

Helps when the opponent can't play defense and don't pressure the forwards down low. Boston would be all over Gasol and Bynum.

Of course I will be rooting for the Lakers.

PHX are embarrassing, the lack of defense is shocking. No excuse for some of it.

I'm slightly worried about Boston - Rondo could really exploit the Lakers.
Although hopefully Artest can help contain Pierce - he has to be a better option than Walton and Radmanovic in 08!!

No, it looks more like the entire celtics team is bending over the magic

I can't believe how good he has become, Rondo will the key to the impending series v Lakers

I do think Williams is better though

I guess they'll ask him who he wants as next boss and see if they can get it done

Caps wont, so I highly doubt this move changes anything for the better.

As for the best PG, Deron Williams is the best in the L, but Rondo is gaining points, and in my opinion is only behind him and Nash

Cavs sack Brown

Is this more or less likely to lead to LeBron leaving?

Deserved to be fired. His playbook -
Plan A - give the ball to Lebron
Plan B - give the ball to Lebron
...
Plan Z - give the ball to Lebron

Chicago making noises about getting Phil Jackson. If they get him and Lebron, they'd be tough to beat. Even if they get just LBJ, they'd be tough to beat in the east - Celtics big 3 will be older and Magic will always be bottlers.

There is no way in flying feck Jackson would go back to Chicago

Rumors that the Knicks could make a play for Coach Phil but they'd have to 1) eat that crap contract they gave to D'Antoni, and 2) pay Coach Phil mega-bucks.

Getting Phil would certainly turn the heads of some UFAs, most notably LeBron and Bosh, possibly Dirk.

I think Phil remains with LAL when all is said and done. Probably around $10m per year for 3-5 years. The Knicks would have to pay him at least $12m per.

Isn't he still dating Jeanie Buss, don't see him leaving, when he could just end up owning the Lakers one day.

Magic ahead at the half, looks like this might turn into a series just like the LA-Phoenix

Does the NBA have any rules on concussion, I see that a couple of the Celtics were a bit dizzy, are they banned from playing for a certain time...just wondering as I know some sports have it

Could be another epic Boston choke as just recently seen with the hockey club. Let's hope it happens and later the BoSox go up 3-0 and lose in October to complete the trifecta.

I'm pretty sure that professional players can do whatever they want and do do whatever they want; mind, you it won't keep them from suing the club ten years later after blowing their 100 million on hookers, coke, and bad investments. I thought it was hilarious when Davis went down and Doc Rivers was just like get up you baby

That said if you get knocked out during a game, the team doc would be an idiot to clear you to go back in, that said I reckon Davis will play the next game. There is a phenomenon with concussion called second wave syndrome or something like that apparently only affects one until there brain stops growing, which for most is about 23 years of age(5 if we are talking about Elvis) in which a second blow to the head in quick succession sets off a devastating chain of events that can kill the athlete. Glen Davis is 24, but he does play in the NBA so his brain probably stopped developing the same time Elvis' did.
