Nations League 24/25 | November Internationals (Matchday 5-6)

Ah it's an achievement without doubt and it's why the Nations League is not a terrible idea.
Thanks.

Even with Norways monster attack i didnt even see us winning.

And i really liked the nations league games.

I would rather not have international football at all
Not an option now is it. Poster I responded to was blaming UEFA for "adding games". UEFA didn't add a thing. FIFA decides these international breaks and UEFA fills them with games so either the rest of the world plays games and Europe tweedles their thumbs or they play friendlies or better yet they play games that actually matter (and they do matter).

Nation's League is one of the few good changes to international football in the past decades.

Poster you responded to was confused as feck. How would a super league affect international football? Players are definitely proud to play for their NT’s a lot of the time.

Are you going to post to declare your disinterest in every thread you're not interested in? Not posting in them is most people's preferred method.
True. Just not mine. Nowhere else to explain my disdain for this than an active thread of Nation’s League watchers.

I think he’d be an interesting choice for a project. For when you get everything sorted out in terms of ownership and structure.
I just think he needs more experience.

If we stay up or not, the first full season with the new stadium and new owners is going to be crucial and a decision we need to get right. I'd like us to be more progressive than Dyche but don't think we can take a risk on a Carsley.

The November international break was actually once every two years up to the 2013 season IIRC. In seasons 2006,2008, 2010 and 2012 they had two week breaks in September and October and the November break was one midweek friendly between the weekend fixtures so that has been added in last decade as additional window.

I'm fairly sure March never used to be an international break either in some of those seasons, again just a midweek friendly so there have been more games added in the last decade, that is undeniable.

Portugal 1 up in Croatia so results hold and Scotland would actually take second and probably guarantee themselves a play off place for World Cup.

That would ease the pressure on Steve Clarke considerably.

Think we need one more goal in either game for that.

Ah is it goals scored with the GD level? I just assumed it was head to head and Scotland would have away goal advantage but I guess they scrapped that once Uefa dropped that criteria for the domestic competitions.

How does Ralston still get games? He must be one of the worst right backs at international level.

Lack of fit alternatives. Even then I’d say there are a few right-backs who are better players. He doesn’t look quite as bad now we’ve switched to a back four.

Playoff? You are in no1 pot for WC qual if you go through but i didn't know about playoff place. You sure about that? Seems too much.

Thought Scotland were excellent there. Jealous Irish fan, good combination of quality and hard work. Great coach too

Serbia draw v Denmark despite dominating. So much attacking talent in that side, Vlahovic and young wonderkid Andrija Maksimovic

I watched a bit of this game from midway through first half to HT. Felt like a pretty even game. Denmark nearly scored twice, Mitrovic goal line clearance and then followed by an incredible Petrovic save. Serbia had their own chances of course, Vlahovic and Mitrovic fluffing their lines.

Serbia had 19 shots to Denmark's 7 and I think a lot more xG so a home win would have been deserved.

But they only have themselves to blame for poor tactics in the second half and failing to score against resilient Danes
