if we got nasri, that would be the biggest shock transfer for our summer.
even sneijder or modric or sanchez would not be as shocking.

See below. When I say he's shown he can play there, i'm talking about his attributes and how they're clearly suited to a central role.
Its funny. People are asking the same questions about him, yet his road to success in this is so similar to that of Modric. Didnt Luka start out wide left also? Its uncanny.
I also think that people are going overboard on saying weve no chance in getting him. If the boy wants to play for us and we want to sign him, he'll be wearing a United shirt next season, its that simple.

I'm hearing reports that Samir Nasri's representatives has indeed agreed a deal enabling him to join #mufc. I cannot confirm this though.
Cocks out.
I agree - West Ham's board should go.
So wed drop him in the big games? pretty pointless signing him as our scholes replacement then isnt it seeing as hed not fit in the games that matter?
Look im not trying to be argumentative i just dont see Nasri as the guy to replace Scholes, Modric on the other hand is a far better fit in my view.

People said the same thing about Modric. Nasri clearly has the abilties to fulfill the role.
Biggest shock transfer ever?
So basically hes proven he can play there via what you see in his game and not via what hes done on the pitch.
Fantastic, thats put my mind totally at ease.
feck sake, stop putting words in my mouth here. I never mentioned Modric. Your question was whether Nasri could play in a 4-4-2 at our team.
I ask again. Would Nasri-Carrick be any less capable than Giggs-Carrick was?
He can play in a 4-4-2, and he CAN play in a 4-3-3 when we play big games, ergo he can play in every single game we play bar none.
Biggest shock transfer ever?
Can't think of a bigger one anyway.
This latest rumour is almost certainly a tissue of lies though. Goddamit I fecking hate twitter with a passion.
There's a thread at the top of the page for all Twitter rumours. Some "news" from a Twitter ITK *roll eyes*
Twitter / Peter Morrison : I'm hearing reports that S ...
How reliable is FootballAgentPM, though?
I think Twitter is just creating the illusion of this being an ultra busy transfer window. In reality, it's the same as normal.
Also, would this be that shocking?
Campbell to Arse?
Figo to Madrid?

Did you not even read what I posted before? He's played in central roles for Arsenal and France and been a success. You're a fool if you think the likes of Anderson and Lucas can play in a 4-4-2 but someone as technically gifted as Nasri cant. If you cant see that, then you should probably find a new hobby.
I'd like to know why you'd take an older, less mobile Sneijder at double the price though.
But didnt Giggs/Carrick ultimately show they weren't good enough at the level we want to aspire to? does the fact in your view nasri CAN play in a 2 man midfield (still something ive never seen him do once) mean hes better equipped than someone's whos flourished there for years?
Also, if we're signing Young along with the likes of Nani/Valencia/Rooney/Hernandez etc where does Nasri fit into a 4-3-3? who drops out?
Little bit of momentum behind this at the moment, fuelled primarily by Twitter, but most interestingly by actual agents etc.
Also, Nasri said on his official twitter don't believe the rumours but he will inform people if something was to happen.
So what that suggests is, something is going to happen. Which indicates this is possibly on the cards.
I'm not really saying anything new, but there is certainly a wind behind this.
Let's just hope it isn't flatulence.
Are people forgetting Wenger making it clear Nasri would not be allowed to leave for United?
The guy might be a bottler but he's a stubborn cnut and he knows it would suicide to sanction this.
They'll take a hit on the transfer fee to move him elsewhere if necessary and I don't think they'll need to as there will be plenty of interest.
Don't know about that. But he represents Rodwell, Tunnicliffe and other players.
If Nasri wants to go to United, there's feck all he can do in practice.
He can keep an unhappy player - no point - risk losing him on a free to a rival just a year down the line - un-Wenger like. Or he can get some decent cash for him.
Has he ever accurately predicted a transfer before it reached the mainstream press?
