Looks like Bender wants out too. Hands up who wants the best striker in the world?
They can just as easily whore him out to plenty of other clubs instead of us.
Regardless, as stated many times already, no doubt just a contract bargaining move.
Gunners fans at Arsenal Mania aren't impressed by Nasri's comments, to say the least.
They are a complete bunch of idiots, to be fair. Not to say that Nasri's comments were particularly welcome, mind.

If we could get Nasri coupled with Anderson in the center, we could potentially have a dominating midfield for years to come.
If he was ours and came out with the same ambigious comments how would you feel?
On one hand I'd be mad but I'd feel Wenger was to blame in some way.
On another hypothethical point;
Young or Nasri?
The thing is here is that Nasri probably has no intention of going to United - he'll be fine at Arsenal for the next couple of years, and if he wants to move on at that point, he will go to Spain. It's very rare for any transfer to be made between the top clubs in England, and I doubt Nasri will break the trend.

nasri...it's not even close. nasri's younger as well.
further more, you can't even use the snood comment to separate the two since young ponces about in a snood and gloves just as much.
mind you snoods are outlawed now.
FWIW I agree entirely however whilst transfers between top clubs are rare it's not exactly unheard of.
If the Gooners sell him they may as well forget being in that elite fora few years
Surely that would depend entirely upon how he was replaced?
Well given how reluctant they've been to spend, a replacement of his caliobre would cost....and I doubt if their fans would accept another "potential"
If we sold Nasri to United, I'm pretty sure there would be some kind of revolt if he wasn't replaced with an already established player. It's a bit of a moot point though, given it'll never happen. Wenger isn't stupid, he knows how unpopular he'd be.
Young or Nasri?
It's not up to Wenger.
The ball is firmly in Nasri's court.
-Arsenal pay him what he wants
-allow him to leave for less than he's worth
-Nasri runs down his contract, and get to choose the club of his choice as early as January
SAF wouldn't sell Madrid a virus
Of course it's still up to Wenger, at least at this point.
Should it become apparent that Nasri won't sign a new deal, Arsenal will start touting him to everyone who'll listen. We could flog him anywhere, especially if we offered him up cheap. There's no way the only interest will come from United, and consequently we'd sell him somewhere else.
There is no way on earth that Nasri will wind his deal down here. Either he signs a contract or he leaves this summer. And it will almost certainly not be to United.
If, Nasri insists he wants to play for United, and if United are interested a deal will be done. If not this summer, next season. However, I reckon his agent is using United as a negotiating tool to get his client a better deal.
If he ever comes to us it's on a free. Champions doesn't mean shit if Arsenal flat out won't sell one of their best players to us, which they won't.
I don't agree at all, simply because I don't think Nasri has that much power. If he's desperate to leave Arsenal, we'll just flog him abroad, but that's just my view on it. I agree on your last sentence.
If Nasri does want to sign for us and if we're interested in him, than no matter what Wenger says it'll be done. He has only one year left in his contract, why would Arsenal want to keep a player that is unhappy and whose value will only diminish in future. He could easily refuse a move abroad, and honor his contract and leave on a free next year.

Denial. He could say, i don't want to sign anywhere else and i'll run my contract out if you don't let me sign for united...who could then say wait until jan and we'll sign you then for a lesser fee .....I don't envy you guys but then again we know what it's like.
How likely is this though? If Nasri did that, he'd prove himself to be a complete twat. He'd never refuse a move abroad.
I think you over-estimate United's pulling power to Nasri. If Nasri genuinely wants to leave, it's for trophies. He could get them at United, but he could do it abroad as well. There's just no way it's happening.

How could i over estimate uniteds pulling power when you acknowledge he'd want to leave for trophies?...To me it sounds like your in denial. It's cool. It'll be a long hot sticky summer hehe

If he sticks around, he'll have trophies with us at some point. And he knows that, and thus the contract will be signed next week.
