The H is silent. Like Liverpools fans after Karius. They signed another Brazilian and that too one named Firminho? Is he better than Firmino?
Just kidding, I know you meant Fabinho

The Keita hype has always been huge. Even prior to the Liverpool links he was touted to be one of the top midfielders. So I'm expecting the worst with regards to him.Are these players like Fekir and Keita really that good? Or are there like average mediocre tier players? I really don't see clubs like Man City, Man Utd, Barca, Real Madrid, Bayern going after players like them. The hyper is ridiculous.
Oh yeah, Fabinho. There's loads of them with almost identical namesThey signed another Brazilian and that too one named Firminho? Is he better than Firmino?

How can he fail a medical after playing the whole of last season (or at least a significant part of it) and while being in contention to start for France in the World Cup
If he is already your player you can take the risk. But if you're gonna pay a lot of money to get him it could be a problem. How can he fail a medical after playing the whole of last season (or at least a significant part of it) and while being in contention to start for France in the World Cup
Seems like maybe the club are getting a second opinion before investing millions in Fekir maybe?
We would’ve pulled out already if it was already known to be a serious problem right?

Wasn't this an open secret? I'm guessing Liverpool wanted a closer look but it just shows there's more to transfers than sitting on the Caf saying I want that one.
Surely if you play 2000+ minutes a season you have to be reasonably fit? I can understand playing through one match due to injury like the likes of rooney have done.
The tweet was self explanatory.
huh? How? They would need doctors to properly assess the issue. Scouting can only do so much. I'm sure Liverpool knew about knee issues, but not the full extent, because that's impossible without full medical adviceThat makes sense tbh. But surely this is something they should have made a note of in their early scouting?
Not always about fancy names though. When we signed Pogba our fans were estatic and opposition fans were shitting themselves. The lad has done ok but obviously he hasn’t lived up to the hype yet. Then you have Matic, premier league proven. Plenty of us were having a moan(myself included) that this wasn’t a good signing. Fair to say, he has been fantastic. If there is one thing I’ve learned from all this transfer nonsense , don’t judge the name judge the performances in a United shirt. Or in this case, Liverpool .Is Shaqiri their back up option? Not a bad backup option but it’s not really the same feel when you add Shaqiri into that front 6 then when you added Fekir.
Fekir is feked?
Dodgy right knee?
Up steps Phil Jones in the first United v Liverpool game. Go hard or go home. Welcome to the Premier League.
Tbf Jones would end up doing himself more damage.
Tbf it would probably be a missed ground level header so would hit him with his face, and let’s be honest jones face is already damaged goodsTbf Jones would end up doing himself more damage.
It’s all a bit Paul McGrath or Ledley KingIt's been said that he follows an adjusted training program at Lyon (less volume than everyone else) and has constant pain in his knee. With the emphasis the club has been putting on physicality and Klopp's reputation for high intensity training, I can't see us signing him in that case. Not unless the fee is reduced - that's probably where the disconnect is.
The Premier League isn't really like that anymore to be honest.More than likely. The PL is one of the toughest leagues and now his soft right knee is being highlighted in the media. You just know there will be self-proclaimed hardmen players from the lower teams, who will attempt a few physical tackles.
He can play but doesnt mean his knee is 100%Surely if you play 2000+ minutes a season you have to be reasonably fit? I can understand playing through one match due to injury like the likes of rooney have done.
Yeah I'd rather believe the FFF President who just spoke to him than someone who's just speculating on the internet though. The medical being positive is 100% not true.
Why have you not signed him yet then despite him doing interviews for LFC TV and media stuff?Yeah I'd rather believe the FFF President who just spoke to him than someone who's just speculating on the internet though.
There could be a million reasons why and if someone with authority on the subject says that the medical was positive (take that how you want to), then I'll believe it.Why have you not signed him yet then despite him doing interviews for LFC TV and media stuff?

I'd rather refrain from speculating about the reason why rather than stating my own opinion as a fact like you just did.
