The line is that not high and the Stamford Bridge pitch is small so there's not that much space in behind. However, TAA and Robertson seem quite hesitant whenever they have Chiwell and James attacking their side and it's totally understandable because they've not exactly getting the best defensive support help from Diaz/Salah.

Tactical decision that turned out to work for Pochettino. Chelsea was by far the most dominant and better team. But mudryk should have came in a bit earlier and play on the left.
I feel sterling in the starting 11 is because he is a favorite of bohley. Regardless, it is just the first game. They gave mudryk the number 10 for a reason. Pochettino definitely needs to start him and instill him with needed game time and confidence.
