For those wanting Mourinho, do you really believe he would stay for more than 2-3 years?
Why does it matter if he stays for 2-3 years?

So Moyes isn't going to challenge and try and change a perfectly functioning club...and this is bad?

Where do you think he'll go if he does come?

Why wouldn't he?
Makes me wonder how long this has been on the cards, clearly Pep was the preferred option but he opted for Bayern. The big concern is Rooney. Whatever some think on here he's still our best player and I cannot see him playing under Moyes again.
No he hasn't. His name was only bandied about for the top jobs this season (Chelsea job in particular). In fact, I believe his name was only ever mentioned in relation to the United job out of pure politeness.
Would us fans have known how incredibly intelligent Neville is with football tactics if not for his appointment with Sky? I don't think we know much about Moyes. Let's wait and see before we make judgments.
Did Pep win anything prior to taking over at Barca?
I will give it 2 years before he falls out with Roman again.

Hmm always thought Mourinho was only man for the job, Moyes is uninspiring but I feel better after hearing Gary Neville talking about it on ssn. I'm concerned by his away record at big clubs though.
I'd say a new managerial appointment is a lot more important than whether or not we keep Rooney.
From 2009Don't think that's true. Apparently Charlton has wanted him for years. And we know how highly Fergie himself has always rated him. If (I still say if) he gets the job it certainly won't be a last minute decision. He will have been the chosen one for a good while..

I remember a story from earlier this year, around the time when Maureen was seen - allegedly - house shopping in London, which started the speculations again: Anyway, the story was that Charlton had told some journo or other that there was zero chance of United appointing Maureen. Supposedly Maureen had his supporters on the board, but Charlton and other heavyweights were against him - and preferred a certain D. Moyes.
We shall see. We may get one hell of surprise tomorrow. I doubt it, though. I think Charlton will have his way here, as it were. And that way will be Fergie's way too, of course.
If you're happy with Manchester United playing abominable, reprobate football, good for you.
We've been playing some absolute shite under Sir Alex, and he's the GOATIf you're happy with Manchester United playing abominable, reprobate football, good for you.
He didn't spend 10 years trying unlike Mr.Moyes.

Without question but surely a Moyes appointment will mean the end of Rooney at United and that has to be taken into consideration.
What did Neville say?
Portugal National team. Quite possibly if he was to win another European Cup.i could see winking a World Cup as a challenge for him.

David Moyes is favourite to succeed Alex Ferguson as Manchester United boss after winning the support of several senior Old Trafford board members.
People Sport can reveal that powerful factions within the Old Trafford hierarchy have already decided that when Fergie retires - possibly as soon as next summer - the Everton boss should take over.
Those factions, understood to include Sir Bobby Charlton, believe they will get their man and win a battle for the soul of United which is raging from within.
Cos obviously Guardiola would have led Everton to League and European glory.
Clueless
