Where he should have pulled it back to Mata?Should have scored two IIRC, Evans header near the end of the first half and Rooney's brainfart near the end.

No when he should have lifted it over Howard who was practically lay in front of him.Where he should have pulled it back to Mata?
We managed 1 when Rooney went through and drew a save from Howard, quite a special performance, Gareth Barry managed to create the same amount of chances for United as United did.
I remember 3. Rooney, Kagawa and Smalling. None of those attempts were threatening/needed good saves mind. Was it 0 shots on goals last nite?
Selection. We managed less than 5 shots on Target against Liverpool, City, and Everton
Credit for what? And that is with a team that consists Rooney, RvP, Kagawa, Mata, Januzaj. Even a pub club will take a long shot pun once in a while.
Just as, even a daft poster will understand the point being discussed from time to time, and the proverbial blind hen will find that grain. Sometimes not.We managed less than 5 shots on Target against Liverpool, City, and Everton

I think I was pretty clear on that

He's a nice bloke.... nice bloke my arse
I think he is a goner. People talk about SAF and whatnot, but can you imagine the Glazers spending anything close to 200m on players. So many rumors about players not happy with the club, if he has lost the dressing room, surely it is over for him.
Replacing a manger will cost a lot less than replacing more than half the squad. I can't see how the Glazers would do something so unGlazer like and go for the much costlier option.
I think that there was this Kagawa volley from outside of the box as well.
Bunch of cows the lot of them.
wow....it really has got bad hasn't it....!!
See, I can agree with almost all of that and not think it's incongruous to also say 'well at least...'.If you think he deserves any sort of credit last night, good luck mate.
He crucify jones, bolting out like a coward, looks lost, gutless to even drop a non functional rooney, no instruction from sideline, etc etc.

Thoughtless, scattergun criticism doesn't make a very enjoyable read.
I'm not worried about this season anymore. I'm convinced the board will sack Moyes as soon as the league is over
Be prepared to be thoroughly disappointed then. He will be here in August with that gollum grin during the first presser of the season.
"We tried our best to improve the ageing squad. It's obviously still not good enough and these are mostly players that shouldn't play for Manchester United but I'll try to make do with them and do as well as possible under these circumstances. No one could win titles with them as they are not good enough but I will try to aspire to finish within top 6."

I think what's saving him and what will save him for a considerable amount of time in the future is Ferguson's speech before Swansea game.In my opinion the only that is saving him right now is some kind of 'end of season, out of the top 4' clause. He is a dead man walking at this stage.

Don't know if it's been posted yet, this bit in particular grabbed me
With Moyes disciplining Welbeck, Ashley Young and Tom Cleverley for a night out 10 days prior to this game – prescribing extra training for the three of them – it is little wonder that a group of internationals and title winners have lost patience with a man who is set to guide United to seventh position, their lowest finish since 1990.
...
When asked after this defeat whether the board recognise his insistence that things will get better on his watch, Moyes shrugged his shoulders and smiled, but it was a nervous, uncomfortable smile.
When I saw that I was amazed. They are young lads, 10 days before their next game, so what. He obviously wasn't young once. OK give them a warning about people with camera phones etc, but to actually punish them. He obviously has his favourites.Sad eh,
He doesn't deserve to punish any of them, infact if there's one guy that needs punishment it's him

After yesterday, aren't we mathematically out of the reckoning as well? We can get another 12 points max which will take us to 69. Arsenal are already sitting on 70 in 4th spot. So if the Glazers have such a clause and want to trigger it, nothing is stopping them now.
I think Sir Alex's speech has lived it's course now. We, the fans, have supported him as far as we could. The writing is clearly on the wall, and I would be amazed if he is our manager at the beginning of next season. The inept performance, the post-match comments and demeanour suggested to me that he knows it as well.
Last game of the season, Moyes does his speech on the pitch and announces he's leaving and our job now is to support our new manager. The fans would give him a good send off then.Don't think there is any point in sacking him with 4 games left. He would leave with mutual consent at the end of the season.
That is how I see it.

I would love to believe it but I don't. Unfortunately I fully expect him to still be in charge at the beginning of next season and a part of me reckons that if such performance repeats, he will somehow excuse himself and still get another one.
Could be. I doubt it will be mutual consent btw. Why would he let go of his big fat alimony check after being driven out by the bad husband?

Let's hope that doesn't happen. It is sad state of affairs that we'll have to sack Sir Alex's successor only a year after his retirement. There is nothing worse than uncertainty. Though I can no longer see him continuing in the job. The team on the park should have put a more solid performance irrespective of the result. The performance has been a constant theme against any half decent team this season. I could understand the earlier failings but this one has to be the final nail in the coffin.
He doesn't seem to be able to motivate them and it's very worrying because it means either he will go or he will have to replace the majority of the current squad to get anywhere near the best out of the team and even then it'll be sort of uncertainty whether he will. We could give him £300m including departing fees and end up with a squad of similar ability that won't compete either.
Anyone got a link to a video of this?
Shrugged and smiled? Shrugged and smiled?!
Even though I want him gone, I don't hate Moyes. It surprises me how many people here genuinely sound as if they hate his guts.
He's lead us to a shit season, and he's totally out of his depth at United - but I'd go as far as saying that he's tried his best for us. You can tell he's done all HE can possibly can. Difficult to say that and I'm sure it's a subjective subject but I think he has. Not as if he's purposely lead us to this position.
Rebuilding? We rebuilding because of the mess you created Moyes.
You are right. We are too afraid to lose to any of these teams, which is the biggest problem at the moment. It is Moyes job to correct it and he has failed, again and again. The Bayern games was a false dawn I guess, the players are no longer playing for him.
