United could appoint pretty much anyone in the interim to get to the season end and get better results. I honestly feel like if your gonna sack him do it before the season is ending so we can sound out potential replacements for the summer, get them in early aka before July 1st and let them have the funds, just make sure its a modern tactical manager with an actual successful track record (not that those are dime a dozen).

Rooney: Probably. But you could easily say that's because he's given more important roles this season, so that's to be expected.
Evra: I don't agree with that at all. He's about the same as last season - shaky defensively, but occasionally offering something offensively.
Welbeck: Probably, yeah - but that's to be expected considering his age. Also, praising Moyes for that is a bit faint, considering he's very rarely using him unless either RvP or Rooney is injured.
De Gea: Not by much. He might look a bit better because he has more saves to make, but he's as good as he was last season. Also, like Welbeck, improvement is to be expected given his age.
I don't think anyone knows why he's to continually been given time, it's a feckin' joke. Moyes is so painfully not up to it.
I hope he's not too stubborn about this. It's great and wonderful that he wanted someone who he thinks shared his qualities. But in the end, Moyes just look completely out of his depth. I really hope Fergie see this as well
Are we going to get another "the players are hurting, we'll put it right" speech, or a "we played well"?
I think we could see a 'part by mutual consent' spin put on it to try and limit the damage to Ferguson and Moyes's reputations. We'll have Ferguson philosophically talking about how it was the right choice but sometimes these things don't work out in football, with Moyes reflecting on his tenure being strewn by bad luck and explaining how the club's vision did not align with his own.

I have to hand it to our players, every week we're finding new ways to lose. I mean forget our attacking play being completely dire and uninspiring the manner in which our players have brainfarts under pressure this season is just incredible. We could have given away 4 pissing penalties today and been down to 9 men, on a plate. First thing to do when you're not playing well is make yourselves difficult to beat but week in, week out we concede the worse goals you can imagine. I mean look at their 3rd goal, jesus, really pitiful stuff. At the end it was shocking, going through the motions in spite of a brilliant crowd. First thing that needs to change is the attitude because there is no heart at the moment.

I never felt that he was, because he doesn't strike me as a man who can motivate. He's done nothing to convince me otherwise, though I'd be more than happy if he did. I don't want him to fail.
He's an easy target because it's the manager who gets the plaudits when things go well, so must also take the responsibility when it doesn't.
I don't think that every player on our books is crap, or not showing commitment. They have no direction, no confidence, no clue, no leadership. For starters we need a new captain.

It was obvious he wasn't at the start of the season. After all this, well I just don't know what to say anymore. Hiring Pulis, Allardyce or whatever long ball defensive manager you can think of would not have turned out any differently. Actually Big Sam would have probably worked out better because he's not a complete pussy like Moyes is and has a bit of character about him. Says it all.
