Was hoping Moyes or Brentan would take over the Chelsea hotseat
One thing he would definitely be down on the touchline and it would be more difficult for him to disappear down the tunnel before the end of a game. Why not? He remains a world class manager. The worries about his short term outlook remain though and this season he went batshit crazy even by his standards and repeat of risk of that at United will remain as well. At United, that craziness will get 10 times more attention and coverage which will be harmful. But, when we decide to go for new manager, if he is the best choice available, we should still try or at least consider.
I thought that was the Portugal NT?
Only after Ronaldo retiresI thought that was the Portugal NT?

Forget Mourinho going to City, it just won't happen while Txiki Begiristain runs the football side of the club.Guardiola and Mourinho will become managers of both Manchester clubs IMO, which club lands which is a different matter.
A history of success at that particular club. It will always lead to more slack being cut. As it stands it still isn't a particularly harsh sacking. He didn't look like turning it around at all. What's so different between LVG and Mourinho this season?
One of them still has a job? What's so different between LVG and Mourinho this season?
Yes. Please do tell.You serious?
Knowing him he would have the tunnel moved.True
What's so different between LVG and Mourinho this season?
He would bring some passion and maybe get a bit of nastiness into our players. They are too nice.I'd still take him over Lvg anyday.
"Mutual consent"
Aw, not fair. We haven't played shit Chelsea yet. A new manager will tighten them up, I am sure. Pretty much always happens.
Pep Guardiola, Guus Hiddink, Brendan Rodgers and Juande Ramos have all been touted as possible successors.
In his first stint it was bonkers but this time he got fair time to turn it around.
This. Watch their players suddenly rediscover their form. Why couldn't we play them first before he got sacked!

He was melting down every week, dragging the clubs name through the dirt, players were picking fights all the time and he had created a really toxic atmosphere in the team. LVG has not done this and has a unified dressing room. Its just his tactics that are restricting the team. The only way to fix it for Mourinho was to replace the whole squad, he wasn't willing to do this without spending millions (Not giving youth a chance). I hate the players right now but he needed to be sacked.Obviously Mourinho has doing shite this season but I think he has done enough for that club to at least be given time to try and fix the situation. Obviously for the Chelsea board one bad season for a guy who has brought them 3 titles in 6 seasons.
Chelsea should have let him have this bad season and see how he does next season IMO.
He has lost the dressing room because of his work methods. If the players don't wanna play under you, you gotta go.Its december ffs. Even if the season was a write off so what.
Hes still one of the worlds top managers. They have already sacked Ancelotti as well and it seems unlikely they will get pep. So where do they go from here.
This would be like United sacking Ferguson in the mid 90's for a few bad months. As i said bonkers.
It can be. If almost none of the player wants to play for you, you won't try to hold on to job. He maybe getting some compensation but this time mutual consent is much more likely than first time around at Chelsea."Mutual consent"
