Mourinho sacked

I would actually love to see that. We might actually do half decent in a tournament.

I think Jose would be well suited to international team management. Whatever else you say about him, he plans meticulously and he'd build a great atmosphere in the team. If it all went wrong at a championships then its all we've known lately anyway and then he can call them all shit players who didn't listen to him :)

Chelsea sack the most successful manager in their history for the second time. Absolutely bonkers.

I don't see how the players escape this without any blame. Disgraceful and disrespectful to the fans if they've been phoning it in.

It's obvious (for me anyway) that they have. You don't go from ¨PL champions to relegation fodder in one season without giving up on your coach in some way.

Bet he replaces Rafa at Madrid within 8 months

Are caftards desperate enough to want him?
Why not? He remains a world class manager. The worries about his short term outlook remain though and this season he went batshit crazy even by his standards and repeat of risk of that at United will remain as well. At United, that craziness will get 10 times more attention and coverage which will be harmful. But, when we decide to go for new manager, if he is the best choice available, we should still try or at least consider.

So will this make Chelsea easier or harder to face when they come to Old Trafford in around 10 days time? Genuinely don't know.
With the way Mourinho sets his teams up in big games away from home and how United has been playing lately, that game had a draw written all over it. Right now, it all depends on how their players will react. I think it's going to be harder - Chelsea were destined to turn it around at one point with Mourinho still there, but it was highly unlikely that the turning point would be United away.

Inevitable but what's interesting is who they'll get. Abramovich will definitely go for Pep soon, not Ancelotti though. Not sure if he's willing to go with a less experienced coach but I doubt so. Crazy how us, City and Chelsea could be fighting for a manager by the end of the season.

Mourinho in past has said that he won't ever manage in Germany. Things can change but I doubt he will appeal to Bayern hierarchy.

If Pep wins the CL this year, Jose will avoid Munich for sure. He could only lose in the comparison with Pep. But if Guardiola "fails" again, Jose could try to win the big trophy for them and if he succeeds, he would be something like the new saviour to Bavarian football (and he would win this comparison with Pep.) He could be tempted by that imo.

I will be forever grateful to him for what he did to stop the Scouse title win in 2013/4 - I seriously can't think of another manager who could've gone to Anfield with all that momentum Liverpool had behind them, on the seemingly inevitable and unstoppable title march, and with his mind clearly on other matters in the Champions League, playing a team of fringe and back-up players but still managing not only to win, but to halt the whole club's momentum and indirectly create the funniest moment in recent Premier League history in the form of Slippy G, setting them up for Pulis to finish the job with Crystanbul

For all of Jose's evil, that single game means that I can't ever hate him. I hope he enjoys a good rest now, he deserves it

Pep already rejected Roman before. It's either City or United for him in England.

He really likes being in England so like i said in the past, i can see him being a candidate for the England NT job.

He will go for NT job but will it be next one? I remember reading that he wants that to be his last job. Let's see.

Around 12 league places.
Exactly. I don't know how United fans can lament Chelsea for this decision whilst asking for LVG's head in the next breath.

It was his time to go. He had lost the dressing room completely this season. Would have loved to seen him manage United if he was not such a drama queen.

Even film directors couldn't even come up with such a crazy scenario. Hopefully a long rest for him like you said, I won't miss his arrogance.

Appropriate time to post this pic again.

I'll tell you one thing for nothing, young Pep is going to be on more money than Ronaldo by the time he takes control of his first match next season!
