Fellaini hasn't featured in weeks right? Mourinho did an all round terrible job today but I didn't see the point in bringing on a rusty fellaini. But I have a bigger issue with how defensive and negatively we played.

You should. They were hitting it long to Lukaku for 90 minutes. Then they brought Valencia on and did it even more. They started to win the balls into the box such as the Valencia header so Mourinho brought on someone with height.

Personally the rot had well and truly set in before Fellaini came on. The team was completely unable to hold the ball, play simple passes, they looked leggy and out of ideas.
We did have a problem with them throwing long balls forward so I can see the logic in bringing Fellaini on to curb the tide but the issue is, for all of his aerial prowess he is a complete liability and a completely thick footballer.
Pogba was beyond poor today but the team stopped playing after 60mins/post Herreras chance, Everton looked awful and we should have put them to bed.
The only place Fellaini really works is up top as a target man, now we have Zlatan he's pointless, he's too clumsy and isn't in control of his feet let alone a football, he's proven time and time again he hasn't got the discipline to play the deep role shielding the defence.

Bringing fellaini on is not a bad decision on it's own but taking a player who can create a chance out was bad too. Should have kept mkhi on in case of a late goal from them
