I don't know if iOS is the same as Android (I assume so) but on Android if you hard press the letter it gives you different accents. It works on OSX so should for iOS.

Marco Verratti. Often spelt without double "r" or "t".
To be fair there's Aly Cissokho so that mistake is understandable.

Similar issue with van Nistelrooij and Kuijt as well (ironic given your username). Basically they're the Dutch forms of the names and the English forms turn the 'ij' into 'y'

Yep, it was Feijenoord untill the 70s. That part of Rotteram is actually called Feijenoord. The official name of de Kuip is still stadion Feijenoord too.
Had to read twice before I noted the difference, I may do this.
