I don't know if iOS is the same as Android (I assume so) but on Android if you hard press the letter it gives you different accents. It works on OSX so should for iOS.Same here, I don’t think i have that o to post on ios?

It's East of England. If you see Poland as an Eastern European country then Schmeichel should be excluded from your list

Rooney.
Over the years I've seen it spelled cnut, wanker, fat bastard.
By far the most misspelled name I've seen.
I kinda remembered you but couldn't remember your username as not seen you around in a while . Thanks, I thought it was something like thatYou forgot about me
Geopolitically we want to be included as a European nation, so let’s go with that. Although by literal geography we are in West asia.
I think some people say Sissokho because they're thinking of the spelling of Sakho if that makes any sense. Not seen Harte but good shout with Sissoko/Sissokho.Seen loads saying Joe Harte or Sissokho
Annoying
To be fair there's Aly Cissokho so that mistake is understandable.I think some people say Sissokho because they're thinking of the spelling of Sakho if that makes any sense. Not seen Harte but good shout with Sissoko/Sissokho.
Ah yes, him too - and good shout on Verratti. There was a similar problem with Jan Vennegoor of Hesselink like horsie said.Marco Verratti. Often spelt without double "r" or "t".

The Wikipedia entry on 'ij' makes interesting reading.Johan Cruijff
Özil and Lindelöf, people keep forgetting the ”ö”.
Maradonna!I notice a lot of people misspell Aguero, as Augero.
Vieira is the best one though, nearly half people misspell his name, which is crazy for such a well known player.
A bit different but 'Athletico Madrid' winds me up.
Maradonna!
A player who is literally in a company of 2 (or 3) for best player the sport has ever seen!
Yep, it was Feijenoord untill the 70s. That part of Rotteram is actually called Feijenoord. The official name of de Kuip is still stadion Feijenoord too.The Wikipedia entry on 'ij' makes interesting reading.
Similar issue with van Nistelrooij and Kuijt as well (ironic given your username). Basically they're the Dutch forms of the names and the English forms turn the 'ij' into 'y'
Edit: actually isn't there the same issue with the team you support? Was called Feijenoord at one point.
Had to read twice before I noted the difference, I may do this.Saurez instead of Suarez.. probably because the S and A are next to each other on the keyboard and the feckers are lazy.
