Weirdly many Germans struggle with his name and often write Kross. Never understood why.
If that’s the case I’m even more against it.The good thing is that would help many English speaking people pronounce it better.

One of the commentators used to always call him this, even to the end of his career. Tyldesley on ITV maybe?I’ve been guilty of a few. For some reason I’d put the H in Cherki in the wrong place thinking it was Cerkhi. Mkhitarayn was beyond me for ages, so I went with Micky Targaryen. And Kvaratskhelia is a fecking nightmare to get right.
Back in the 80s when he first joined, I swear loads of people used to say Alec Ferguson instead of Alex. But that was before the times of forums so I never saw it written that way.
