Top player imo, I'd have him in the starting XI of every team in the league except for Chelsea. Even then, considering how much Mikel, Ramires and Lampard played for them last year, Morgan would get plenty of time there too.

Mitten said we had a £20m bid rejected, but could go in for him again on the UWS private forum.

Did he actually say that though or are we believing some random weirdo off twitter? If anyone had info from his private forum they wouldn't post it anywhere.

Every club has scouts around the world, but you see it time and time again with managers, when i player plays well against their team they take notice.

Rojo was basically brought because he played well for 90 minutes against Holland...so it might be that Schneiderlin have gone unnoticed due to LVG not being completely familiar with the Premiership.

He would be a very good buy imo and wouldn't cost anywhere near as much as a Vidal/Strootman.

I'd welcome him with open arms here. He's a great CDM. Great tackler, good positioning and not too shabby passer.

I hope this is true. 25m-30m would do it and he would be an easy purchase even on deadline day. A 24 hour signing.

I don't think Southampton will make it easy for us, but yeah would be a great buy imo.

Another at an age where they can improve further and get even better, like all our other signings this summer.

Would be a good signing.

Great player, I've watched him at Southampton for a while now, would be great for us. I just worry that this is more rumour non-sense!

Looks like moves elsewhere are too far down the line for Kagawa, Cleverley and Hernandez, but I wonder if there is any of our deadwood Southampton would be willing to take in part-exchange?

Welbeck on loan would be perfect for them. If we are getting rid of him.

I like your idea...18 million plus Clev and Welbeck on loan for a season would be good business.

Exactly what I was thinking. I wouldn't put him in the 'deadwood' category but can't see them wanting the likes of Anderson, so this is the one that might tempt them.

Would take him in an instant and I think he would do really well here. Should have moved for him earlier in the summer but it's one of the drawbacks of a break in continuity.

We could do a lot worse than this guy, you'd think though given the amount of players they've already lost this summer it would be difficult to do on the last day of the window.

As I said in the Twitter thread I'd go as far to say he's the best defensive midfielder in the league right now, is very underrated.

Just saw the name of the OP, how is that acceptable :/?

Calm down everyone, let a reputable journalist confirm this before saying your opinions. No need to get hyped up like with Carvalho/Vidal being linked to us (nothing happend there). We also know he is a good player, but there is no need to get into finer details about his play.
Wel, Mitten said is so there has to be some truth in it.

Would not mind him, but if we are prepared to spend that much, then why not spend it on Carvalho?

If the people are too raucous for you in this thread, you may struggle in this forum as a whole. Ridiculous post.

I think you misunderstoood what I am saying. I am just saying don't get caught up in trying to argue if schneiderlin is good enough or not based on some guy who said he saw something on a forum. Let there be a reputable source confirm it. We should have learnt this from Vidal sega.

I will delete my other post, clearly some don't get I was saying.

I reckon you have underestimated Rojo"s performances for Argentina in the World Cup.
He was a hard bastard throughout their campaign and gave them fight and guts, a real warriors performance.
I believe he will do well for us.
