Midfield 3 of Bastian, Schneiderlin and Herrera. Am I dreaming? I think this ranks up there with one of the best midfields we've ever had.

They are the perfect DM - Box to box - Playmaker combo van Gaal likes so much in his 4-3-3s.

Solid but not spectacular signings for Utd so far I think. Think they'll struggle a bit off the start with so many new faces as well. Likely become a force later on though so hopefully they drop points early on when everyone is still getting to know each other.

From Arsenal-Mania.

Man we had some pretty amazing possession stats last year, i can only imagine the possessions stats next year with this new midield!

A top quality centre half and a young striker as back-up to Rooney with potential to take over from him would just be amazing. If we kept De Gea aswell...
At this rate I wouldn't be surprised if we managed all that.

This is too good to be true!! Yesterday I travelled to Germany - we sign Schweinsteiger. Today I travelled to France - we sign Schneiderlin. Where should I go next?

Bloke on Bluemoon had a bit of a meltdown.

Went something like this...apparently Bastian is here for one last paycheck before he retires because he is way over the hill, Darmian he hasn't heard off so must be shit, Depay is an overpriced talent from a shit league and when told about Schneiderlin he said ''see Lovren, Lallana and the rest''

Lads! This is a time to rejoice!
We have gone through years and years of disappointment in the transfer window. Our limp dicks in our hands and tears running down our face.
We have endured hardship and heartbreak, we have felt crushing blow after crushing blow.
We saw the likes of Özil, Sneijder, Sanchez, Thiago, Lucas, Ronaldo, Hazard and Bale slip through our fingers and leaving sour tastes in our mouths.

But what did we do. We kept on believing, we kept on saying, "Maybe we'll get one world class player in. Maybe we have a plan". It might not have ended in tears of joy, but we kept our inner muppet alive. It was hungry, hungry for our day in the sun, our day when we reclaim our place in the higher echolons of world football.

And now our day has come.

No more sleepless nights reading tweet after tweet from some second rate 15 year olds tweeting about potential transfers. We all knew those tweets were bs, but we wanted to believe. Well, now we don't have to live in false hope.
NOW. We can let our Muppets free and bask in our day of Muppet Valhalla.

Fellow muppets. We stood strong. And we can hold our hard cocks in pride and celebrate the new godfather of CEO's of Football.

The One, the only

Ed Fecking Woodward.

This is superb news just what we need. Gary Neville will be very happy he was drooling over him
on several occasions last year on sky sports.

Reckon he or bastian will have jonny Evans no 6 shirt..

Looks like the 'medical now' reports are just so the media don't look completely useless by not getting a sniff of the medical earlier today.

Lazy bastard, why didn't you pick up Hummells and Muller! Transfer window done!

Spain. Otamendi or Ramos will do! ;)

I wouldn't be surprised if we end up with Kane, Bale and Ramos, Woody is in full on ninja mode!:D

It's just so bloody complete, both collectively and individually. All 3 are all-round fantastic players and that midfield has just about everything you need - tenacity, creativity, leadership, ability to dictate play and dominate midfield battles. It really is a formidable midfield unit and maybe the only aspect lacking is goals but if Herrera maintains last season's productivity, then we are in for an absolute treat.

Seriously though! I'm pissed drunk, conor mcgregor won and we have the best midfield since Keane Scholes, I can take being wrong about him coming.

I'm over the moon and a billion times more pleased about Schweinsteiger's signing now. Getting them both removes any real risk as we'll have plenty of options if the German misses a match
