If £24m is true then that is just the icing on the cake  Thank god all the posters in here saying just throw £30m at them to get the deal done aren't in charge.

Lads! This is a time to rejoice!
We have gone through years and years of disappointment in the transfer window. Our limp dicks in our hands and tears running down our face.
We have endured hardship and heartbreak, we have felt crushing blow after crushing blow.
We saw the likes of Özil, Sneijder, Sanchez, Thiago, Lucas, Ronaldo, Hazard and Bale slip through our fingers and leaving sour tastes in our mouths.

But what did we do. We kept on believing, we kept on saying, "Maybe we'll get one world class player in. Maybe we have a plan". It might not have ended in tears of joy, but we kept our inner muppet alive. It was hungry, hungry for our day in the sun, our day when we reclaim our place in the higher echolons of world football.

And now our day has come.

No more sleepless nights reading tweet after tweet from some second rate 15 year olds tweeting about potential transfers. We all knew those tweets were bs, but we wanted to believe. Well, now we don't have to live in false hope.
NOW. We can let our Muppets free and bask in our day of Muppet Valhalla.

Fellow muppets. We stood strong. And we can hold our hard cocks in pride and celebrate the new godfather of CEO's of Football.

The One, the only

Ed Fecking Woodward.

Excellent mate

Damnit, they will probably confirm this tomorrow officially and therefore ruining my sleep now.

Bloke on Bluemoon had a bit of a meltdown.

Went something like this...apparently Bastian is here for one last paycheck before he retires because he is way over the hill, Darmian he hasn't heard off so must be shit, Depay is an overpriced talent from a shit league and when told about Schneiderlin he said ''see Lovren, Lallana and the rest''

Probably thinks it's okay to spend £49m on Sterling though!

Seriously, I'm in bed now just chuckling alone  Not possible to sleep now!

I used all my juice celebrating Schweini... :(

This is shaping up to be the best window ever!

I'll fire out enough for both of us mate :D

Can we actually properly confirm this though I want to go to bed but I'm too hyped

It's just so bloody complete, both collectively and individually. All 3 are all-round fantastic players and that midfield has just about everything you need - tenacity, creativity, leadership, ability to dictate play and dominate midfield battles. It really is a formidable midfield unit and maybe the only aspect lacking is goals but if Herrera maintains last season's productivity, then we are in for an absolute treat.
Exactly. At first I thought Schneiderlin would be signed for the number 6 role but it became clear when we signed Schweinsteiger that the latter would be preferred for the number 6 role since he has a longer range of passing. That's why I think Schweinsteiger will be the deepest of the 3 midfielders.

If Schneiderlin plays the number 6 role, van Gaal would have to give up having that player that controls the game from deep within your own half.

So in other words, Bastian DM, Schneiderlin B2B, Herrera PM.

Next big one would be DDG signing new contract and say Eff off to Real after witnessing what they did to one of their legends.
Bloody imagine. We'd be a serious force next year, possibly even if we didn't add a centre half or striker. That midfield would dominate!

A picture of his blood was actually tweeted. Today saw a revolution in transfer muppetry, and I'm not sure we're prepared for it.

Absoutetly fantastic, so much work had to be done to complete these transfers so "quickly." LvG and Woodward deserve immense credit in putting their money when their mouth is. Great weekend and a few more will definitely be coming in.

This is the signing that gives us the depth and rotation we need in CM. You look at our options, its strong now.

When I look at what we had in 2013 to now

2013
carrick, Schneiderlin, herrera, Schweinsteiger, mata, fellaini, depay, di maria, young, janazaj

2015
carrick, cleverley, fletcher, anderson, giggs, valencia, young, kagwa

That is a huge difference.

It also does make us wonder, maybe VG is looking to our midfield for goals, and hope rooney can score us 20 plus. I think VG is looking to Herrera, Schweinsteiger, mata, fellaini, depay, di maria, to spread out the rest of the goals.

The spine is getting rebuilt, we still have a problem with DDG, but another CB and the striker situation, and its a squad that can challenge. If we lose DDG? we will still need a new keeper

"And I remember the meeting, with the transfer muppets of RedCafe. And they said we could sign Schweinsteiger AND Schneiderlin...
