Lets hope we can sign him quickly while he isnt on their radar/they arent serious about buying him. Once they want him too, it can get difficult.

He said he wants Champions League, Liverpool are a Europa League team as it stands, I think in a straight up choice he'd pick us.

Really hope we can get it done today/tomorrow. We'd be in great shape going into the tour with Memphis, Darmian, Schweinsteiger and Schneiderlin. We'd only be a centre back away from being fully stocked.

and a striker

On Sky's yellow bar now that we do still want Morgan
Yep:

UNITED STILL IN FOR SCHNEIDERLIN

Manchester United may be on the verge of adding to their midfield ranks with a deal for Bayern Munich midfielderBastian Schweinsteiger but according to Sky sources, the club are still interested in bringing Southampton midfielderMorgan Schneiderlin to Old Trafford

It was clear why City wanted Delph. It was purely to fill up home grown quota. Just like they did with Rodwell, Sinclair etc. Schneiderlin is level above Delph. Can City promise him starts ahead of Toure and Fernandinho? Probably the dialogue with Micah Richards of Delph which was in news recently made Delph back out. Yes, there is chance City will go for Schneiderlin now and we have to wrap it up soon if we are serious but this is a point where United can convince Morgan. Regular first teamer vs a player to fill home grown quota.

According to a lot of people though the deal is already virtually done, it's from a few different sources too which is reassuring.

Slightly off topic but i was just looking at Bluemoon to see what they were saying about Delph and some of them are upset because it gives us annimition for some banter against them lol, they said they should hijack Schneiderlin to "save face" lol.
Its like when we bought Depay, they were talking about what they could do to counteract that , pathetic.

I have a horrible feeling that City may turn their attentions to Schneiderlin now that Delph has turned them down, just to fill their homegrown quota
