Mo Salah

Salah had an exceptional season and Liverpool managed only 4th. Let that sink in for a moment. The probability that he scores 40+ goals next season isn't big.

Ban worthy? Who do you think you are talking to here son. You're a new member for a reason so wind your neck in when you're speaking to Caf royalty in the future.

I 'play' sports.. I do mixed martial arts. I've had my arm popped, broken ribs and shattered nose. I wouldn't go off crying unless I was seriously fecked.

What's your point.
This is so cringey.

I think he went off as a precaution - didn't want to jeopardise his World Cup dreams. I'm sure he could have played on if he'd wanted to.

Enjoy your evening Mo.
I wrote something simillar in the match thread. As much as I respect Salah for everything he has done this season, he looked like a typical Liverpool player that night. He even posted a CL themed Instagram story as some kind of a reply to Ashley Young's story. As if there can't be a player in the world to successfully man mark him, he seemed very annoyed by the outcome of that game.

Seems a bit of a pussy to be honest. Couldn't have scripted it any better.

Glad he'll be OK for the WC.

Means he'll be knackered and won't have a full preseason next season.

Him going off was the turning point in the game as they're not the same side without him. Hopefully he's fit for the World Cup as I want all the best players there.

Salah hooks his arms onto opponents a lot in one on one duels. Watch him again next season, he always does it. He techincally fouls them a lot of the tim by not allowing them to come across him. Very clever. Until last night.

Ramos didn't go out to injure him in my opinion, I think he responded to his arm being hooked and responded by twisting Salah's arm down as a method of tit for tat. Maybe Salah will re-think this tactic from now on. Ramos is no fool, he wouldn't let a player try and gain an advantage on him.

Watch the penalty Salah won on the VAR call FA Cup vs I think West Brom. Hooks his arm into opposition so when they move away they techinically fouled him.

His injury completely changed the complexion of the game. Meant that Madrid could push further up the pitch and we lost a massive chunk of our counter attacking threat, which we were relying on to hurt them. As soon as you drop off and allow Madrid to start playing, then we aren't good enough to play that way and nullify them.

At best, it's absolutely shit luck for him and the club. At worst, it's terribly cynical/ruthless from Ramos.

You could have easily just admitted that you simply are a one man team, instead of trying to sugar coat it.

I was surprised how Liverpool shrunk after the injury

as amazing as Salah was this season I think the real strength of the team was the system with pace all over

Lalanna wasn't obviousdly like for like but I think it was a psychological blow which led to Liverpool going deeper

The system absolutely was the most important thing, and it was centred around the front three - two pacy outlets with Firmino linking them. Take one out and it made the game much easier for the opposition. Watching Lallana was painful.

Lallana didn’t look anywhere near good enough to play in a game like that.

So what exactly is his injury then? Not a dislocated shoulder but something serious enough to keep him out of the first World Cup game?

Don't know what's the surprise. I said the same yesterday. He was never going to play the first game if the injury will last for 2-3 weeks, because he wouldn't have trained and Uruguay are a physical team, insane to play him in a game like this after such injury and without proper training. The hope is for him to play the other 2 games.

Also don't give a feck about Liverpool or if he's concerned about them or not. I only care about him playing in WC or not.

Sprained shoulder.

According to the Egyptian National teams's Twitter...
The elected team doctor Dr Mohammed Abu Alaa has been told by Liverpool’s medical team following an X-Ray that Salah has a sprained shoulder joint and had his shoulders wrapped,' the post read.
'The Dr is optimistic of Salah's chances of joining the national team for the World Cup.'

Except salah was the one making the foul and also the one who accidentally tripped Ramos

Also best attack on the planet you have 2 other forwards where was mane and firmino??

You are a one man team

Unlike Karius? Or Henderson? Or Milner? Or Bobby White-Teeth? Or VVD?

Or Klopp himself?

The reality is that Liverpool as a team didn't look good enough to be in the CL final, hence why you got beaten.

Real beat PSG and Bayern on their way to the trophy, and a better 'running order' would probably have been...

Liverpool in the Quarters, PSG in the Semis, and Bayern in the Final.

But at the end of the day, you guys made the final, albeit against Roma, and you had a go at it.

No shame in losing a Final. Move on to the World Cup and next season.

Where was Mané? Mane was trying to force things almost on his own and scored the equalizer. Firmino was underwhelming on the other hand.
