I would agree with that, but considering only their time at Liverpool, you have to go with Salah.
Suarez's 13-14 season is still probably better than any of Salah's, but Salah's got more seasons of top quality than Suarez does at Liverpool.

I think Eto'o and Salah are in the same tier. Eto'o was incredible.
Suárez is one of the best number nines ever, and certainly at least top 5 in the last 30 years. Not sure he's the best example you could've picked.

For Liverpool absolutely Salah was better yeah.
Eto’o at Inter was fantastic. I mistakenly saw him as just a brilliant fast forward but at Inter you saw just how good technically he was. Sort of reinvented himself as a complete striker.
Yeah, it's a bit weird to make that comparison, and then get Evans' number completely wrong. Evans has more PL titles (3 vs.1), more FA Cups (2 vs. 1), more League Cups (2 vs. 1), and more Community Shields (4 vs. 1). They have the same amount of Champions League titles and Club World Cups (1 each). Salah has more UEFA Super Cups. Evans objectively has a much better club trophy haul, but Salah obviously has some years to correct it.
You'd have caught a lot of people with this one, if not for that last sentence.

Gerrard dragged and inspired a totally mediocre Liverpool team to the CL final even when they were 3 nil down his body language never gave up and his goal started the comeback in the final.
Bruno's attitude and body language is horrendous and he'd been sulking and throwing his arms and hands about vs Olympiakos alone never mind the entire CL.

One is one of the greatest midfielders the league has seen and the other is someone with great ability but a terrible attitude as captain no less.

That's the thing though, Gerrard was part of the reason that Liverpool were in all those "down and out" positions that he had to try (and mostly fail to) save them from.
The famous "slippy G" game is a great example. Not because he slipped (it happens, all great players make mistakes) but because he spent the rest of the game trying hollywood passes and shots to try to be the hero, when if he'd just played normally Liverpool would probably have got something from the game.
This kind of thing makes for a great cup player, which Gerrard was and Bruno is.
And to get things back on topic for the thread; Salah > Gerrard > Bruno.
He just oozes quality and is the type of player that you can easily see carrying on into his mid-30s while adapting his game and still being amazing.
I am all for Anderson 4, Gerrard 0 (EPLs), but at least we should do it right. Evans is a three time EPL winner.

I don't think it's outrageous to rate him as the best Liverpool player of all time. He's different to Gerrard in terms of what he offers on the pitch but his output is difficult to ignore.
Another, just as interesting, question is is he the best player to play for Chelsea in Premier League history? That is the best player who has a) represented Chelsea and b) performed in the Premier League? Not necessarily the best based on his period at Chelsea.

Toure is easily up there with the other three if anything Drogba is overrated.
I think the other players are more the reason tbh, Hollywood passes never stopped De Bruyne from performing great season in season out it’s an overused term.

I had an awful opinion not long ago, that Mane was the better player and Liverpool were idiots to get rid of him. I couldn’t have been more wrong - as Salah is still doing it in the biggest league whilst Mane is playing in Saudi.

He’s arguably the best there in totality. He was African Footballer of the Year four times on the spin. He’s definitely on a par with them. His attitude sours it a little, but he was every bit as talented as those three and he won everything in football. Huge player.
Hard to say really as so many different factors go in that assessment.
Would you rate Cristiano Ronaldo as your best ever player over the likes of Giggs, Scholes, and the older legends who spent their entire career at United and won everything there is to win? Longevity is important when talking about "best ever", but Salah has been at Liverpool for quite some time already now and has simply delivered in almost every single season, whilst winning the Premier League - something Gerrard never did. But even if you go the other direction and base yourself on peak form, even Salah's best season doesn't come close to Suarez' 13/14 season for me. That's the most insane run of games I've ever seen from a Liverpool player by far. But Suarez wasn't at Liverpool long enough and didn't win a major trophy, so he's excluded from the discussion for me.
I'm too young to have seen Dalglish and Rush play, so can't comment on that. If I have to choose between Salah and Gerrard I'd probably go Gerrard because of nostalgia, but it's a heart over head decision at this point I fear. The stats, end product, trophies, ... all rather point towards Salah by now (and he'll only add to that if he signs a new contract, who knows).
