We all know that parity with current highest earner (i.e. KDB) is just for show right?
In reality, he's getting 500k that his father demanding to whoever wanted land his signature.
This one was a hell of monstrous deal, a quarter of billion quid over the course of the contract years.

Ronaldo will go wherever there is CL football no matter the league. He will go down as a player who left his club twice. Salah deserves to be the highest paid player in the PL because over the last few seasons he has been the best player in the league and never wanted out.

I think he's been the best player as well. Some have played him close but over the past 5 season, he's had the highest overall level.

3 premier league top scorer awards in 5 years and he's one away from Henry's all time record.
Kane is also on 3, incidentally, but 2 of those came well before Salah came back into the premier league.

Astonishing player not just in terms of goalscoring buy in terms of playmaking and overall team impact.
 
He got his fat new contract and is now kicking back. Probably knows they can't keep up with City so can't be fecked.
 
I remember thinking Liverpool will eventually hit the same wall we faced when your players contracts run out, they’ll want bigger and bigger contracts and with the added risk theyre old now.

Salah’s not going anywhere, he’ll stick around until the end of his contract and they’ll have to deal with it, but the problem is new players will see his contract and say they want the same, which is how we ended up with a huge wage bill.

yes. Also this new formation isn’t helping him. But I think it’s a mix of that and getting paid finally :D the World Cup rest should reset him though for a better second half let’s see but I’m not complaining as this is helping pool fall out of the top 4.

Been poor since the AFCON. Lost that final, failed to qualify for the World Cup, lost in the UCL final. It’s hard to recover from all that
