Beat Dinamo Zagreb 3-1 in the quarter final (Veevers x2, Mainoo). Semi next. Against Nuremberg if I'm not wrong.
Lost 1-3 vs. Bayern Munich in the semi. They had a few good chances at the end of the match but couldn't convert it.

I don't like the fact we're hearing a lot of noise about u11s etc now, we see too much self entitlement from players already who have been subjected to media adulation from 16, this is only going to make it worse.
Definitely agree. Have to say though, it all comes down to the way parents raise their kids and I know from experience (not my own parents), parents can live their footballing dreams through their kids which can be really negative for a kids development and general attitude.

Gutted for him! Has had a good season so far, and had hopes of seeing him for the U23's this season. Hope the injury didn't become worse when he played on despite being in pain.

U15s won mini tournament at Carrington yesterday beating Spurs on pen on final.
Other teams were Chelsea, Villa and Birmingham
U16 beat Preston 3-0.

Understand now? He is still waiting and might be waiting for a while yet, just as Poole did last year coming from Wales. The wait had positive influence in the long run for him.
No U18s played. 2 U15s started (Wych and Elanga). A trialist from Chelsea, Di'Shon Bernard, started in centre of defence alongside Laird. There was another trialist on the bench.

Probably just didn't get a scholarship offer, so have maybe got permission to leave to go on trials elsewhere earlier than when their deals finish. It was meant to be between Belehoun and Allardyce (apparently) in terms of who would get the final deal out of the two, but looks like they've both been released

I wonder how disheartening it'd be to be released by a club, let alone one the size of United, must be a real kick in the nuts! Credit goes to those who go on to become at least half decent pros.
Belehouan and Broadbent are with Sheffield United...Allardyce is having trials somewhere and Ceesay is not playing right now.
