People going without a Hajj Visa was a big problem this year and that seems to be one of the main causes for the high number of deaths.

There two main reasons and they can be fixed easily. Countries that have automatic visas to Saudi was the biggest problem because the number of people who came without Haj visa was huge. They did not only cause more numbers that caused more pressure during the ceremonies. But also they did not have places to sleep and literally died of heat because they slept outside in the wild.
Two, the bottle neck is the (stones throwing) that occur for the millions at the same time and at the same spot. For Shia Muslims they do not need to do it at a specific time, but through the whole day which can help spread the numbers through out the day, but for the majority sunni muslims they have to do it at the same time which is behind most of the accidents.

They are hardcore islamist jihadists for the most part, and the timing of their offensive is very interesting.

I do wonder who's behind their financing and arming.

On a side note: it's good to see you back and your posts on other related threads have been sorely missed.

The bots n trolls are certainly pushing the idea these 'rebels' are some sort of hardline religious isis-lite or something, as hard as they can. Which tells me its probably not true.

With Assad being one of the most evil cnuts on earth, most other evil cnuts will be supporting him, not fighting him to avenge those he's killed and reclaim their country. Though I understand there's a fair few factions involved.

Pretty much, the rebels or opposition fighters are a mixed bag for sure, but there are plenty there who are fighting to reclaim their homes and territory from where they have been displaced for close to a decade now. And you can just see it on the videos that are coming out, this is a liberation from Assad that is being celebrated, whatever may come next.
