could have done without seeing this now, might have had another hour of fantasy thinking we might have a chance. One of 2 officials in PL I think might actually be corrupt.
This stuff, especially the top one, is the most infuriating thing about discussing referees. People often only focus on red cards or penalties, whereas this stuff is what really controls a game. And yes, every time we have this guy reffing us, it feels as if the entire flow of the match goes one way. If one team is getting the majority of the simple calls, or one team simply isnt getting free kicks for simple fouls, it dictates a match.
Absolutely spot on. Remember when he booked Dalot after 90 seconds at city last year, for an innocuous foul near the touchline. Followed by one for our other full back (Shaw, I think) not long after.
