Michael Oliver

Oliver, employed by City owners doesn’t give Chelsea penalty and City red card.
How surprising

The most plainly corrupt official in British football history. there's no way it wont all come out in the future. At the point that clubs need to reject to his appointment for big city games. This season ALONE:

He's had them 4 times, and in all 4 games, made at least one huge call in their favour.

Oversaw the worst offside goal allowed this season versus fulham
Didnt send off Kovacic when every single other person in the world would vs Arsenal.
Didnt give the stoppage time penalty for Liverpool.
DIdnt give either penalty, or the potential red against city today.

It is IMPOSSIBLE, that in 4 games, you could make at least 5 game changing wrong calls in the favour of the same team. Its statistically impossible.

oh It’s very possible when the city owners literally have you on their books.

But you’ll find City fans claiming it’s just incompetence like with other refs. Nothing to see here.

He is so clearly on the payroll and it's comical how everyone pretends he isn't.

It's very hard to argue that he isn't biased in favour of City at this point. Shambolic again.

it just doesnt wash though. Incomeptence would mean big calls against them too. This is the opposite of incompetence, its utter consistent competence towards City's benefit from the same official.

Who just happens to be an employee of the club favouring from his calls' owner. What a coincidence. I've said in here before but the fact that nothing's made of this stinks. Media have a duty to shine the spotlight on this but we all know that they have a good relationship with City due to them treating them to what can only be appropriately described as bribes for their silence on all matters such as these and their 115 charges.

Yeah it needs to be overseas journalists, just as it was with the financial cheating. Just look at Lineker with Guardiola today if you're under any illusion about just how tight man city are holding journalists balls in the UK. It was like watching a child on Make a Wish meet his hero. Richards got so excited he actually shut up for once, until he screeched at Guardiola like a girl outside One Direction's hotel.

He'll be give the final as well.
If he’s given the final and United beat Coventry tomorrow, we should be making a formal request that he’s not involved and any other referee takes over instead.

At the very least, if they refused the request and it’s made public, the pressure on him would be huge.

Maybe not the VAR from today either, come to think of it. Who was VAR today and has he had any UAE gigs?

Said all week that he’d protect city today from the big calls. Lo and behold…

Next time he has a city match I’ll say the same, then he’ll do the same

And again after that.

And again after that.

And then people will still wave it off as a conspiracy. Convinced that if some undercover reporters investigated this, he’d come out dirty. Have said it for years

How much dirtier can it get? Are you thinking about an email from Oliver or a recording or something? If getting paid a salary by them isn't shady enough for the league, then I'm not convinced that a recording of Oliver taking a fat packet from City's owners and winking at them would make a difference.

Why would you need an undercover report? Manchester City's ties to the UAE are public knowledge. Michael Oliver gets paid to go to the UAE to referee games. Michael Oliver makes multiple big calls benefitting Manchester City whenever he gets the opportunity to do so, either as VAR or on-field referee.

It is a fact that this is a conflict of interest. For some reason, the PGMOL are not concerned about this conflict of interest, so they might as well let Oliver ref Newcastle games too.

David Coote?

And I think he has done UAE.
Can't find anything with a quick google (Darren England's the one I know off the top of my head who's been, the guy who was on VAR when they messed up during Liverpool-Tottenham) but he's the one that spent three minutes looking for the microscopic contact between Dalot on Madueke before deciding to not send the ref to the monitor. Maybe his clear and obvious threshold requires someone to choke an opponent until they die before the error becomes clear and obvious.

Cootes an idiot too. Didn’t he get suspended this season?

Oliver was also the VAR official who recommended a penalty for the Hojlund/Rodri incident at OT this season. A nothing incident which occurs in every box, every game.

Improtant to flag too that he was also the VAR who called play back for that absolute BS pen against Hojlund in the derby earlier this season.

Webb has a lot to answer for this season. Every decision should be made public as to for or against.
Howard Webb will instruct Howard Webb to conduct a full investigation into Howard Webb. Results will be communicated by Howard Webb.

Another awful ref to add to the collection. Are they actually any decent ones?

Howard Webb better not tell Howard Webb about Howard Webb secretly being on our payroll otherwise we're proper fecked.

Give us mic’d up refs ffs. Forget the penalty, how did the cnut not see it was a corner?!
I think he originally gave a corner. Then when VAR intervened, he changed it to a goal kick. Of that is indeed the case, VAR must have told him that it did not make contact with Grealish.
