I dont think it would be absolutely necessary for Fergie to be there, would be nice but not a necessity.

2 years ago I saw Berbatov on the motrway driving up to manchester just before we signed him and I posted it so anyone can check,last year my friend fitted Sky for David Gillespie who runs Cheltenham racecourse and he told my pal that Michael Owen was going to sign for us a few months before he did.So I have a bit of history in major transfers to our club.This may be nothing but like I said my daughter is not stupid and knows better than to wind me up over football.

Michael Owen himself didn't know 'a few months' before his transfer we'd go for him. Didn't SAF call him just the week before after he missed Benzema?
