Maybe and this news about Torres going to Chelsea is true and maybe they do want to sign 1 big name player.. But I doubt they have a whole load of money to spend.. Them getting rid of so many players to sign a few value players and 1 big player hardly means they are in a better state than we are.. We have signed Smalling and Hernandez already those can act as our Value signings and I am sure we will spend big on atleast 1 player this summer and by big I mean 15 Million plus..

Well Fabregas is probably the best young CM in the world, so I doubt it somehow. He's certainly got the talent though, but I don't think his all round game as on Fabregas level.
Fabregas will get found out if he goes to Barcelona. He isn't at the standard of Xavi or Iniesta.
I think this is their way of stating to buying clubs that they are not fussed if their valuation is not met and using the free after next year argument is void in any negotiation.

Prying Bastian or Sneijder away will take an incredible amount of money. With Ozil only having a year left on his contract he may command a premium but, perhaps one not that high considering they may lose out all together if they don't.
Would still prefer Bastian but, Ozil in free role with Fletcher and then either Carrick/Scholes/Hargreaves could be quite good in big games. Just not sure if he'll start every game considering he'd have to oust Nani/Valencia for wing positions or SAF would have to play more with just Rooney as striker.
