He won't leave, now that Gerrard is moving from Liverpool Messi has a real chance to go down as the best one club man in history.

I'm actually not so sure that Chelsea are too hamstrung by the FFP currently. Even if they are, don't be surprised to see a rule bending agreement, something along the lines of the Falcao deal.Interesting. thing is, say he wants to leave barca, the price he would command in fee + wages would shit on everybody with regards to FFP apart from ourselves and real madrid. now im not saying were gunna sign him but i dont even think bayern could pay the probable 120m-150m fee and bonkers wages, and while chelsea, PSG, city, could afford it they wouldn't be allowed to.
Provided were back in the champions league theres no other club who could afford him than us.
Just the once?Doubt he will come here after the sh*t our fans give him everytime he plays at Old Trafford.
van Persie joined after years of your fans calling him a rapist, that's not a reason at all.Doubt he will come here after the sh*t our fans give him everytime he plays at Old Trafford.

Possibly. He may be different.van Persie joined after years of your fans calling him a rapist, that's not a reason at all.

They're the WBA of Spain. They appear to think the manager is just an inconvenience.
Admittedly they play in a more glamorous city, have more household names, a more iconic kit and more hospitable weather conditions....but WBA aren't without their problems either. There are just a few differences between them and West Brom...
name ONE!There are just a few differences between them and West Brom...
I agree that's possible, but how pathetic has football become?Mourinho said a few weeks ago they could never sign Messi due to the sums involved.
I doubt Messi runs his own Instagram account in any case, so a power move by his camp to put the possibility out there
Look at Falcao. Apparently his mate had control of his Facebook? Twitter? Account and fraped him as grateful for his move to Madrid fnally happening.I agree that's possible, but how pathetic has football become?
"The club just won't budge on the extra £50k. We're going to have to submit a transfer request."
"Wait, before you do that I have an idea.......what's our Pinterest password? I'm about to blow this mother wide open."
name ONE!
Messi to United would be the ultimate troll. Signing for a club that still idolises Ronaldo, to win our hearts, and make us forget about Ronnie.
West Brom have Tony Pulis, Barca should be so lucky.name ONE!
Apparently the Barcelona Board will discuss Chelsea's approach on Wednesday?!
Hope not, source is RAC1 btw, whatever that is.Nah, they aren't doing shit, I expect Messi to simply force whatever he wants through and the drama to end.

£110m and he is sold imo

With the transfer ban Barca would never accept anything less than his release clause which is about £200 million
His wages at Barcelona right now is £256,000 after tax to match that any English club would have to pay him about £470,000 pretax. Since he is a pretty descent footballer at the peak of his career we can assume that he would require at least a small wage increase so say about £500,000 a week.
If we add this up he would cost about £330 million add to that a sign on fee and agent fees and the total outlay towards FFP would be around £350million or £70 million per season.
Why? With the transfer ban they can't do anything with the money. Also their president would never get re-elected if he sold Messi for anything less than the release clause.I think Barca would accept a figure around £150M. Woodie loves his Gaalacticos but damn, thats a boatload of money.

I don't know if it has been confirmed by any official sources but from what I have read the release clause is €250 million. So is it well known he has a release clause of about £200m?
