Messi?

Throw the fking money at them. Don't even buy defenders if we're you're giving us this, Ed.

We are getting him.
Haha, I'm sure Woody would be more than happy to do it, but knowing us we'd sign him alongside Falcao, and try to fit RvP, Rooney, Falcao, Di Maria and Messi in one team.
@kps88, do not want Messi? Really?

If I follow Rojo and Van Persie on instagram does that mean I'm going to join Manchester United?
You're not the star player in a team going through major upheaval, nice try at being witty though.

If he does leave Barca we better hope that he's big mates with Di Maria and Rojo....

Rojo followed our club and Rooney, Januzaj and RvP(?) days before we bidded. :p

That Rafael Hernández bloke is the biggest shit stirring WUM on Twitter anyway, that's how he gets his followers. Most of them are leftover from when we were meant to be signing Thiago, where he would tweet back then BS about Thiago choosing red peppers over green meaning he has always wanted to play for United or some shit.

Not leaving Barcelona, just getting Enrique sacked. Does bring the question of what will Barcelona do now regarding managerial appointments? What a mess.

They're the WBA of Spain. They appear to think the manager is just an inconvenience.

He's on £256k a week after tax in Spain so in order for Chelsea to match that after tax wage they'd have to pay £371,200 (£256*1.45).
That's now how you gross up for tax, it'd be almost £466k, but what did you mean by he wouldn't pay it?

I always found his phony angel act grating but I'd love him here.

Never felt he was acting like an angle. The media always wanked over how humble he was and everything when in reality I think he is just a bit shy with media. It also helped that Ronaldo loves to act like a drama queen on the field which makes his biggest rival Messi somehow look humble or even angelic for some people when he isn't really behaving any different than most other players do.

If we take FFP into consideration, it'd only be ourselves, Madrid or Bayern who could afford him.

£371,200 before tax would only net him £204,160 a week. The formula should be (£256,000/0.55) that adds up to £465,454 a week before tax.

He won't leave, now that Gerrard is moving from Liverpool Messi has a real chance to go down as the best one club man in history.

One club man? No totti no party,

balls to slippy g and leenal messy

We are Adidas. Messi is Addias. Come home to Adidas, son. All your mates are here.

Definitely a Mourinho signing, that work rate.

Was wondering if it's normal for him yesterday, he couldn't be bothered for feck to get away from the offside position and he just strolled back behind the defence

Meanwhile, his missus is liking different Chelsea-related things on instagram or whatever this shit is and she's liking posts/pictures linking him to Chelsea or something like that connected with Fiberglass.

*Chelsea intensifies*

Interesting. thing is, say he wants to leave barca, the price he would command in fee + wages would shit on everybody with regards to FFP apart from ourselves and real madrid. now im not saying were gunna sign him but i dont even think bayern could pay the probable 120m-150m fee and bonkers wages, and while chelsea, PSG, city, could afford it they wouldn't be allowed to.

Provided were back in the champions league theres no other club who could afford him than us.

It'd be interesting to set like different picre-ranges that big clubs could afford according to those regulations; the higher the price, less clubs would be able to afford him.
