He'll probably score 2 goals in that 2nd half and the hype will continue. Fantastic player, not as good as he was, clearly, but Madrid are setup almost exclusively to get him chances.
 
Can't even gloat right now cos I know Ronaldo is guaranteed a second half double or something.

It'll implode either way. Ronaldo will most likely score and that'll be proof of how wonderful he is and how Messi was such a choker last night, blah blah blah.

All this game (so far) has done is prove that one guy does not make a team no matter how genius he may be. If Real were to go out could anyone actually blame Ronaldo? Their defence has been non-existent much like Barca's last night. We expect too much of these guys, IMO.

edit: And, this kinda puts to an end that nonsense from Sporting last night about how it's all down to Ronaldo that RM are so good in Europe. Ramos has been such a huge miss tonight.

Please lets not start saying penalty are easy. Messi knows that. To score that penalty under those circumstances last kick of the game. That takes a hell of a person. Folklore level penalty.

Didn't put Isco one on one, didn't dribble past a bunch of players and didn't create good chances for himself. Didn't create the chance for the penalty either and he didn't press the hell out of Juve's backline.

Penaldo at it again.
 
What a penalty to win it! Gave Szczesny absolutely no chance. On a night where almost everything went wrong he still steps up when his team needed him most.
